Decent, albeit odd, hotel in the suburbs of Göteborg. 5 mins walk from several tram lines, a nice quiet neighborhood. The rooms are fine, fairly spacious, comfy beds etc the only downside is there is no control over ventilation, and the windows don't open. Breakfast was good every morning. The only other downside is the many many teenagers running around / practicing / playing very loud music around the sports area.

Novelty of staying on a houseboat is fun, and the place was nicely laid out and clean. However, there is essentially nothing in the immediate area for dining or amenities. There's a plaza of stores about 2km away. Immediate vicinity is a bit gritty and public transport is limited. It was odd to feel isolated yet look across the harbor and see a bustling city. A car or Uber is almost a must.
My houseboat had a swampy smell to it. It wasn't the marina; the air outside smelled fine. Maybe need to clean a bilge pump or something.

This is a run down hotel, but is being worked on when I was there.
The worst part was after walking from the train station, I had to climb a flight of stairs, then go down several steps to get to reception. No a great thing to have to do with two heavy (for me) bags.
