Stayed in this adorable cabin in the woods for a few days to enjoy the fall foliage and visit the Biltmore, which was an easy drive from the cabin. Rudy and Ann were amazing hosts and when Rudy found out we had no real plans but to sightsee the first day, he recommended the perfect route for us to see the fall leaves including a nearby apple orchard, Chimney Rock and Lake Lure. My wife and I spent New Years at the cabin and REALLY enjoyed it. Beautiful, cozy cabin with everything you need to get away for a long or short stay. Convenient to Asheville and Biltmore. But the goats were our favorite part. They are so funny and awesome. We got a full dozen of eggs our first day, which were hands down the best eggs ive ever had. There were animal crackers supplied to feed the goats which my wife really reqlly enjoyed. Its also in a really great location, close enough to the coty in case you need to go grab some food or anything, but also far enough away to really get the full mountain living experience.
