This is a small but stand-alone, non-shared space studio with a separate entrance not connected with the owner's residence. It has independent utilities control and no other guests share this space. The owners live in the main house next to it and control the area of the premises. It is a nice place in a quiet neighborhood located two miles from Flagstaff downtown, less than a mile from the National Forest and Buffalo Park, very close to the shopping center, restaurants and Flagstaff Medical Center. The studio has a refrigerator, air conditioner/heater, microwave, coffee maker, electric stove, teapot and all necessary kitchen stuff. Also, we provide guests with some essential food and bath supplies and extra bedding for the roll-on-bed. Our nice outside patio is suitable for meals and relaxation if weather permits. The check-in procedure is simple — the door will be open for you, and you will find the keys inside the unit. Please park your car in the concrete driveway at the front of the house. The studio door is straight before you and it will be open. The toilet does leak, and the bathroom floor is wet most of the time, and the ceiling leaked a little during a huge storm. But nothing was unmanageable. Has a small TV but no Netflix or Hulu. Looks great in the photo’s ……different in reality No matter haw cheap a property is, it is not too much to expect to have been cleaned before one’s arrival and I am by no means a clean freak. The cooking equipment felt greasy. The crockery is chipped and the cutlery was dubiously clean. (We used our own cutlery and bowls.) Oh and don’t get too excited about the microwave, its a tiny 600w unit with one wheel missing off the turntable. The kitchen sink which is tiny is the only sink in the studio. The blinds do not completely cover the window when drawn! It is way more cramped than it needs to be. There is a huge drawer/cupboard unit that doesn’t need to be in the room (the linen could in the wardrobe. If someone is sitting at the dining table, you can’t get past because of the drawer/cupboard unit. The towels are cheap and of poor quality. And biggest complaint was that the room and bedding were not freshly prepared for guests coming in. We also emailed the host a week before the actual reservation to cancel and never heard back from him until the day before leaving us no option but to keep the reservation.Needless to say we didn't spend much time there except to sleep. ##### Vince M. I was very happy with the property and my stay there. Quaint room with some nice rustic details. You get a small but well equipped kitchen, table that can double as a desk, nice shower, and a comfortable bed. You are within walking distance of a grocery store, shopping center, and a coffee shop. Downtown was a short drive, but easy to get to and since this property has dedicated parking, you don't need to worry about coming back and finding a spot. Hosts were great at communicating about the property and the stay. One note, there was not a TV in the room, but that was fine for me. Much nicer that staying in a hotel, in my opinion. ##### Brad W.
