"The Mansion is an incredible experience and historically significant property, having survived the 1900 hurricane in Galveston. The property has been lovingly preserved and the staff were exceptional. On arrival we were met by Aaron who took great care and time to ensure we had a wonderful stay. The Kona Hawaiian coffee is sublime and breakfast was a great conclusion to our stay. Highly recommended."

"DO NOT BOOK THIS PROPERTY!! Upon arrival to our room we noticed there were only sheets on the bed. When we called front desk we were told to find the blankets in the closet. There was ONE for a two-bed room. One sheet was stained. There were also only two towels and both had huge holes in them and one had a dirty footprint on it from a shoe. Mildew/Mold everywhere on the walls and ceilings. Sand all over the floor. Had to wear shoes from the moment we arrived. No extra pillows available per...

"Next to the beach and one mile from the cruise terminal. My white socks turned dirty black from the condensation on the floor. No drains in the bathroom. A hot mess, but I survived. If I use the hotel again, I will clean the room before lying down."
