A hidden oasis! Cozy, timber framed home surrounded by birch, cedar and pine trees. If you love the outdoors or just want to get away from it all, this is the place to consider. You'll enjoy having your early morning coffee outdoors and will probably be greeted by the neighborhood deer, wild turkeys, and other wildlife. There are outdoor chairs and tables for lounging/dining on any of the 3 decks/patio or gazebo area. There is a Weber gas grill on the front deck and the kitchen is a chef's delight. Ample dishes, cooking ware, spices, and appliances are here for your use. The 40 private acres of old growth woods are a hiker’s delight. A rare find in northern Door County! On those cool DoCo summer evenings gather by the fire pit to tell tall tales and sip hot chocolate/eat s’mores. If you bring your dog we have a high tie zip-line so you can leash your dog up while still allowing them room to run around.. If the weather proves uncooperative you can enjoy the large stone fireplace in the main family room yet still see outside through the wall of windows. The lower level theatre room makes for a perfect movie day with the giant tv. It’s an outdoor oasis, yet also extremely convenient to everything on the northern end of Door County. This is our first experience with Vrbo, and we can't wait to book with them again! The home was exceptionally clean and well-appointed, the decor was beautiful, and the furniture and beds were very comfortable. If needed we could also go to different areas of the home to do “our own thing”.
