"Beautiful location! Loved the kayaking. Great singalong around the fire pit. Fisher people caught fish at the state park. Deck is special for reading, morning sunshine & coffee, just lounging. Beds were comfortable. All rooms were nicely decorated. We would definitely go back!!"

"The house was very clean upon arrival. Check in instructions were easy and we were able to enter without any issues. The house was big enough for a family of three. We enjoyed the fire pit outside in the evening. The location of the home was great - we were close to a lot of wineries and multiple state parks, all within a 45 minute drive."

"We had a wonderful stay while visiting the area for a wedding. Overall, the house was exactly what we needed - comfortable, spacious, and filled with plenty of areas to gather, relax, and enjoy one another’s company. It was a great value for the location and had everything we needed for our stay. The home was conveniently located near the Inns of Aurora, the MacKenzie-Childs store, wineries, and other nearby attractions. The quaint downtown area was literally right across the street, which was very convenient. The kitchen was lovely! It was one of our favorite parts of the home. Every evening, we gathered around the large island to visit and play cards for hours, making our stay especially memorable. The enclosed porch was also a nice feature, and we enjoyed the quaint reading area on the upstairs landing. As a thoughtful suggestion for future improvements, a little additional attention to the landscaping and outdoor areas could make the property feel even more welcoming. A detailed cleaning, including gently clearing away cobwebs throughout the house and refreshing the enclosed porch, would also help enhance the overall experience.That said, we truly enjoyed our stay, and the home worked very well for what we needed. The host was wonderful! Very communicative, easy to reach, and always quick to respond."

"I reserved this VRBO stay for my friend's bachelorette, and we all had a great time! The property is huge and perfect for a summer stay. We had a lovely time playing giant Jenga and watching movies in the "man cave" house, while we enjoyed meals in the main house (which had two kitchens and several rooms and beds), and we also loved the fire pit outdoors and easy access to the lake. The host Chris was very quick to get back to me on questions I had, and clean up didn't take too long. The view of the lake was definitely the highlight for me, and it's off of a main road, so it was easy enough to find! I will just note that if you are someone who doesn't like bugs (namely spiders), there are quite a lot of spiders outside the house / around the property. We just brushed away spider webs with a broom and then rinsed the area near the fire pit with a hose, and that was enough for us!"

"The host was very gracious and communicative. The property is very impressive and access to the lake was easy; very walkable, though it was also helpful to have rented a golf cart to assist carrying stuff.The guest house is very spacious with a great room: open kitchen and living room, dining room area. The cottage is smaller in terms of hangout space.When traveling with a group, the guest house is definitely where everyone spends time together.It would be helpful to know ahead of time that the larger beds (queen sizes), are over in the cottage, while the guest house was mainly singles and doubles. But the guest house is where all the action is and that’s where the older adults wanted to stay, We put our teenage kids over in the cottage, because it was the lesser of the two houses, but they enjoyed the larger beds."
