Wander down to the beach via the footpath across the road leading to beautiful Fingal Bay. Park your car and walk to the Fingal Bay Beach, Fingal Surf Club, Tennis Courts. BYO beach towels Pets considered on application Fingal beach is a glorious white sand beach tucked under Fingal Head. This family-friendly, patrolled surf beach is perfect to catch a wave, catch a fish, or just catch a sunrise on your early morning walk or for a relaxing Sunday afternoon drink overlooking the beach. Fingal spit is a sand spit that links the mainland to Fingal Island. The island is still accessible by boat with a boat ramp available at the southern end of the beach or it is well worth taking a cruise which includes a fully guided nature walk visiting an Aboriginal fish trap lagoon, as well as Point Stephens Lighthouse and ruined caretakers cottage. At the end of the beach you will find Barry Park hosting a whale watching platform to sit back and relax as they pass through from May to November. For those keen to really explore, the start of the beautiful National Parks coastal walk begins at Barry Park and flows all the way through to Anna Bay, boasting coastal views, wildlife and flora. It's not hard to see why Fingal beach is one of the most photographed locations in Port Stephens. The charging of any electric vehicles, electric bicycle, electric scooter, electric skateboard, segway or other like devices (Electric Personal Mobility Devices) or the battery for an Electric Personal Mobility Device is Prohibited in this property. To ensure the comfort of our guests and neighbours, we do not accept bookings for 'Schoolies' breaks/under 21yrs groups and under no circumstances do we allow parties of any sort. Kindly note a deposit of 50% AUD of total amount will be charged at time of confirmation. An option of direct deposit and credit card is offered. A 500 Security Deposit (pre-authorisation) is to be held. The bond will be processed prior to arrival. We only accept Mastercard or visa. You can check in anytime between the hours of 3PM and 5PM on Weekdays. On weekdays after-hours, weekends and public holidays there is an afterhours check-in service. If you require this service, please inform one of the members at LJ Hooker Nelson Bay prior to your day of arrival.
