We love this upside down cottage with stylish interior and airy first floor living area. Dog friendly and only a three minute walk to the beach. 1 step to entrance.

Front garden with patio and garden furniture. 2 small dogs welcome. Private parking for 1 car. No smoking.. Dunlin is one of three newly built, upside-down properties tucked away in a hidden courtyard, just a few yards from the vibrant town centre of Filey on the North Yorkshire coast.  
  
Designed for two people and dog-friendly, this charming cottage offers a cosy ground-floor double bedroom alongside a stylish bathroom equipped with a bath and shower over. A staircase leads to an open-plan first floor with a vaulted ceiling, velux windows, and a shaker-style, well-equipped kitchen. There’s a dining area on one side and a comfortable seating space with a Smart TV, making it a great spot to relax after a day of exploration. A private patio with seating provides a quiet spot for an early morning coffee or alfresco dining.  
  
Located just a three-minute walk from the sandy shores of Filey Beach, the cottage is perfectly positioned for both relaxation and adventure. Filey’s town centre is just steps away, offering a delightful array of shops, tearooms, restaurants, and cafés. The picturesque Victorian promenade and golden sands make for a perfect seaside stroll, while Filey Brigg and the towering cliffs nearby are ideal for birdwatchers and hikers alike.  
  
A short drive brings you to Bempton Cliffs, an RSPB reserve known for its impressive seabird colonies, or you can venture further into the Yorkshire Wolds and North Yorkshire Moors National Park for breathtaking scenery and outdoor activities like walking and cycling.  
  
For thrill seekers enjoy afternoon at Go Ape in Dalby Forest. The North Yorkshire Moors Railway is also a must-visit for history and railway enthusiasts. Nearby market towns like Pickering and Malton offer traditional charm and festivals through the year, while stately homes like Castle Howard, Sledmere House, and Sewerby Hall provide a cultural day out.
