  • This lovely apartment is perfect for family or friends to enjoy a relaxing seaside holiday or go and explore....the choice is yours!. All on the Second Floor:

    Living room: 40" Freeview TV, DVD Player, Ipod Dock, Electric Fire

    Kitchen/dining room: Electric Oven, Electric Hob, Microwave, Fridge, Dishwasher

    Bedroom 1: Kingsize (5ft) Bed, 22" Freeview TV

    Bedroom 2: 2 x Single (3ft) Beds, 22" Freeview TV

    Shower Room: Cubicle Shower, No Toilet

    Separate Toilet.. Electric central heaters, electricity, bed linen, towels and W-Fi included. Travel cot and highchair available on request.. On road parking. No smoking.. Anchor’s Away is a delightful second floor apartment (accessed via 4 flights of stairs) that has lovely sea views from the living room window. Both bedrooms have TV’s so great for the children.

    Just a short stroll and you are on the award-winning beach of Filey. Over 4 miles of golden sand with lots of space giving the feeling of never being crowded. Filey is still an old fashioned holiday resort compared to its larger neighbours Bridlington and Scarborough with its traditional donkey rides, ice creams and candy floss, but has plenty of independent shops as well as a large supermarket. There are also a few restaurants and bars/pubs if you just want to relax and unwind. The train station a 5-minute walk from the property for those of you who prefer to travel further afield.

    The RSPB bird sanctuary at Bempton Cliffs is just along the coast, where in the spring you can see the puffins perched. The medieval city of York is just an hour away, voted every year as one of the top ten cities to visit, with its wonderful cathedral, museums, theatres and shopping. Beach 700 yards. Shop 250 yards, pub and restaurant 300 yards.

Amazing find, it’s perfectly situated and has an amazing view from the front window.

Amazing find, it’s perfectly situated and has an amazing view from the front window. The apartment has everything you need and is so cosy. We stayed during Feb and it was very cold outside but stayed warm throughout Anchors Away. Everywhere was spotless and didn’t smell of animals at all. The Shower cubicle is large and was powerful. The beds comfy with nice linen and towels. A short stroll from the beautiful beach and village which has a large choice of eateries and shops. Would recommend and we will be returning, loved everything about this first view of Filey.
