Amboage Real Apartment

This beautiful building, designed by the renowned architect Rodolfo Ucha, retains some of the characteristic features of the early 20th century. A charming, bright, and newly renovated one-bedroom apartment with a living room, kitchen, and bathroom, located on Plaza de Amboage. Just a stone’s throw from any of Ferrol’s attractions, 10–15 minutes from the beaches, shopping district, and numerous dining options: a very comfortable place to stay in the heart of the city!



This apartment is rented out as a whole and will be entirely at our guests’ disposal.

This accommodation is heated by electric radiators, which are available from November through April. In light of the climate and social emergency, we are committed to responsible energy use and aim to be part of the solution, not the problem. Therefore, given our city’s oceanic climate—where temperatures in the coldest winter months range from 6° to 15° C— we will provide heating during two time slots: one in the morning and one in the afternoon, always maintaining a comfortable temperature between 18° and 20° C. The maximum heating time is limited to between 4 and 6 hours per day, depending on the weather. Guests may choose the operating schedule based on their living habits. It is important to understand that heating a property like ours is not the same as heating a smaller space, such as a hotel room.

Check-in will take place between 4:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. (*) We do not have a 24-hour front desk, so please provide an approximate check-in time a couple of days before your arrival. Check-out must be completed by 11:00 a.m., when the cleaning crew arrives. Keys will be left at the location indicated by the Host. Parties or events are prohibited. Access is prohibited for anyone not registered at the property. Smoking is prohibited in all areas of the property. Pets are not allowed. (*) A late check-in may be requested in advance, between 9:00 PM and 11:00 PM, for an additional fee of 20 euros, to be paid in cash to the Host in charge of check-in. No check-ins will be accepted after 11:00 PM; after this time, the reservation will be considered a NO-SHOW.

Easily accessible on foot. Train and bus stations are less than a 15-minute walk away. City bus stops and taxi ranks. Easy and quick access to the highway. Beach and nature areas are a 10-minute drive away.

The apartment, renovated in 2023, is located on the second floor. It consists of an open-concept kitchen-living room, a bedroom with a double bed, and a bathroom. The kitchen is equipped with a ceramic-glass cooktop, a microwave oven, a refrigerator, and a washing machine. It also includes all the necessary kitchenware for a comfortable holiday stay. A dining table and chairs are provided. The living room is spacious and bright—a pleasant area to relax and unwind. It features a flat-screen TV and Wi-Fi. The living room retains its original balconies and galleries from the early 20th century, from which you can enjoy views of Plaza de Amboage. It features a cosy and quiet Italian-style bedroom with a double bed. The bathroom has a shower stall with a glass partition. It’s a spacious and very comfortable bathroom, ideal for this type of stay. The apartment has everything you need for a few days of relaxation and unwinding: bedding and towels, kitchenware, appliances, Wi-Fi, and heating available from November through April.

The owner won’t be present, but a professional host will be available to assist guests with whatever they need—whether it’s an emergency (a breakdown, damage, etc.) or to provide tourist information and local recommendations ;)
