"We visited Lakshmi during July which is in the middle of the local dry season. It was extremely hot at times but also variable so be prepared for changing weather patterns. Our booking was all inclusive including the initial taxi from Iquitos and subsequent boat ride to the lodge. Our guide, Adderly, was very knowledgeable about the local ecosystems and took us to a number of different locations around the reserve. "We had a great time at the lodge! Many activities such as fishing, visiting an island of monkeys, and seeing a lot of wild animals. Given the fact that there is little or no electricity, we were able to disconnect ourselves for a few days in order to really relax. The rooms are very charming and the staff was great to answer questions and concerns. Our guide Manuel was great!! Very recomendable because he really knew his way along the jungle and never made us feel anything less than spectacular....

"It was amazing to go and stay there. Once in a lifetime. The showers only had cold water but during the hot days they were perfect. You get very close to the wild life, we even had a tarantula in our room. Definitely worth experiencing "

"Firstly, ignore the map. The camp is 30 mins away by by boat on a side river off the Amazon surrounded by forest. Absolutely perfect location. Also the price includes various excursions depending on how long you stay including dolphin watching, rainforest walks - but not Iquitos. No shop, take everything you need. Camp is basic but food and staff are great. Noone speaks English at camp, if you don't, take a phrase book. We stayed 3 memorable days. Do the nighttime walk!"

"객실 안에 벌레가 많고 전기가 없고 따뜻한 물이 안나오는건 이키토스라서 어쩔 수 없지만, 능숙하지 않고 영어를 거의 못하는 가이드라 3일동안 답답했고, 피라냐 낚시, 나이트워킹도 없었고, 아마존강 수영한다고 수영복도 가져오라고 했으나 말도 없이 안함.. 매번 인위적인듯한 프로그램이 지루하고 재미없었다. 음식은 맛있으나 양이 매우적음... 제일 기대했던 남미 여행지였는데 정말 속상했다... "
