Meadowlark Cabin in the foothills of North Carolina’s Blue Ridge Mountains is ready and waiting to host up to eight guests for an unforgettable getaway. With three bedrooms and three bathrooms, this spacious, modern cabin is perfect for large families looking for outdoor fun. Couples looking for privacy and romance will also find it here. First thing’s first: divvy up the three bedrooms! Want to claim the primary bedroom? You’ll be happy to discover a cozy queen bed, with plenty of natural light and high ceilings. This spacious room has plenty of storage space and an overhead fan for warmer days. Kids will fit perfectly in the second bedroom, which comes with one double bed and two twin beds. And the third bedroom also works great for couples or kids, with one double bed, tons of closet space, and a cozy cave atmosphere for the deepest sleep of your life. There’s so much to love about this cabin, but one of its most underrated features is the three bathrooms! Because who wants to waste energy fighting for bathroom time? Two are full bathrooms with vanities and large mirrors, and the third is a half-bath. One of the fulls has a luxurious soaker tub and separate walk-in glass shower, and toilet with a door for privacy. The other has a shower-tub combo. The nearest airport to our property in Ferguson, NC is Piedmont Triad International Airport (GSO / KGSO) in Greensboro, about 89 miles away. The drive from the airport to Meadowlark Cabin takes around 1 hr 35 mins. We also provide guests with driving instructions with pictures upon booking. Other Details to Note: This property is located within a gated community, monitored by security cameras at the gates for guests’ safety. The cabin itself is installed with a security camera, which records audio and video. The camera is not directed at private areas. They loved the game room which is downstairs so I felt like I had time to relax and meal prep upstairs. So cozy and the cleanest cabin I’ve ever rented! It was so peaceful and quiet and so well furnished that there is nothing one needs to have an incredible stay. It was spotless, comfortable, and stocked with everything we could possibly need and more. We wished we could have stayed longer to take advantage of all the games and activities available at the cabin. On the Leatherwood Mountains property, we enjoyed walking to breakfast and lunch at the Saddlebrook Restaurant, hiking, fishing, horseback riding, and swimming in the pool. We also took drives to Boone for groceries, mini golf, and shopping, and to Banner Elk for gem mining and the alpine coaster (so much fun). We had a great trip. Everything had a place and was labeled with directions as needed. The amenities give lots of options for everyone to do individually or as a family/group. The host was responsive and worked with us to ensure we had a great stay in the short amount of time we were there. Our stay couldn’t have been more perfect. We played pickleball, had a picnic outside, walked to pet the horses, played board games nonstop and enjoyed the hot tub many times. It was the most beautiful and relaxing atmosphere that we could have asked for. The cabin had all we needed in order to slow life down and just focus on each other, making beautiful, life long memories. We can not wait to come back again! ##### Ericca M. It was absolutely beautiful inside and out and so clean that we didn't even use our sheets that we brought with us. We were so amazed at all the amenities the cabin and community had. The kids stayed so busy they didn't even care they didn't have cell service lol! The location was also wonderful! We went to Tweetsie and went shopping and dining in Blowing Rock while we were there! The space offered so much to do the kids didn’t even want to leave! It was also immaculately clean. I’m very particular about that issue, and I found it exceeded my standards. The other thing we appreciated was the attention to detail. Everything we could have possibly needed or wanted was already thought of. It was a wonderful vacation for my wife, my kids, their significant others and myself. The weather was great and we really enjoyed all the home had to offer. Played games, watched movies, played pool, worked on a puzzle, used the hot tub, cooked inside and on the grill, used the fireplace and just relaxed. I would stay again when we can. The host provided everything you could think of and the kitchen was well stocked for cookware and utensils. We really can't say enough about how nice and clean the home was. Hands down the best furnished cabin we’ve stayed at, even with teenagers, really no reason to leave other than the surrounding sights’ (Grandfather Mountain, Blowing Rock, Boone, etc.). Be mindful of google maps taking you to town. We witnessed Helene’s wrath coming over the gravel mountain pass, probably best to stay on paved roads, unless you’re feeling adventurous. It was very clean & there are a lot of games & things to do, like hot tub etc. The quality of furniture, dishes, bedding etc- were all very high end. The decorations are perfect. It was full of amenities. We enjoyed the game room, hot tub, open kitchen, and living room. The deck was fantastic and well laid out, with places to sit outdoors, even on a rainy day.
