This is a lovely bed and breakfast. We stayed in the treetop suite which has its own bedroom, kitchen (with Keurig), bathroom, and bathtub (the owner, Paulette, provides bath salts and lavender for the tub as well). I will warn that there is no shower in the room and the bathtub is just in the middle of the suite basically. We didn’t mind but others might. Paulette also provides snacks/treats and wine. The breakfast was good, we overslept one day and Paulette was very kind and still served us. There were a few things that made us a bit uneasy. One was that we weren’t given a key to our suite. Later when we asked if the door locks, Paulette explained that there are keys available but it’s preferred we don’t take them in case we lose them. She seemed to know the other people staying there so we were fine leaving the door unlocked after talking to her about it. The second thing that we didn’t love was there was no mask mandate when in common areas. We wore ours around anyways, but there was no sign indicating that it was mandatory and at one point we were literally told that it’s not mandatory and we don’t need to wear them. I would’ve been more reluctant to stay here after learning this, but there were bottles of hand sanitizers all around the common spaces and the place was quite clean. But if you are more anxious about Covid-19 this is probably not the place to stay.
