Gîte du Château de Montriou - up to 12 people

In the outbuildings of the Château de Montriou, around the gravelled courtyard, your cottage is to date the only building restored and refurbished into a warm and comfortable house to welcome you in the best possible way!

You enter directly into the living room, composed of an open fitted kitchen (fridge - freezer, electric oven, gas hob, dishwasher, electric kettle, DolceGusto coffee machine, toaster, and everything you need to cook), a dining table that can accommodate all the guests.

Through the living room, you have access to the following rooms:
- a closed office for teleworking (satellite Internet connection and wifi throughout the house); the office can also be used as a baby's room... and the cot being on wheels, it can easily reach another room; baby also has a bathtub and a high chair; if necessary, travel cots can be made available.
- a living room equipped with sofa, armchairs, connected TV, reading and games for young and old; blazing in the fireplace next autumn!
- a bedroom to accommodate 6 people: single beds + 2 x 2 bunk beds, TV
- a bedroom with a double bed 90x190, TV
- a bathroom, towel dryer, washing machine, hairdryer

Through the staircase located in the living room, you access the master suite, which comprises

Under the stairs, you will find the vacuum cleaner, the broom, the iron and the iron, ...

Possibility to add up to 2 mattresses on the floor.

The house does not lend itself to the reception of wheelchair users, we are sorry that we cannot receive them.

We provide you with the essentials necessary for your stay (cleaning products, dishes, linen, etc.) and thank you for having the delicacy to replace what you have used / finished, so that your successors can also benefit from it.

Unfortunately, the power grid is not suitable for charging electric vehicles.

Because it can be complex for you to entrust your favourite companion, we will be delighted with your pets! They are welcome, provided they are already clean and socialised, and have validated the species and breed together, at the time of booking.

The garden welcomes you for your barbecues, meals, outdoor rest times.

Because you won't necessarily have the desire or the courage to get into the kitchen, we can offer you for your meals:

- an aperitif consisting of beers and/or soft drinks, sausage, chips, at the price of 7 € / person

- a hot dish such as lasagne or shepherd's pie or gratin (or equivalent), accompanied by a green salad, a basket of fruit, wine and/or soft drinks, at the price of 15 € / person

- for breakfast: coffee and tea, pastries and bread, honey or jam, fruit juices, at the price of 10 € / person

Everything is prepared "homemade" and to order, freshness guaranteed! everything comes from (as much as possible, and according to the season) from local producers that we have carefully chosen to bring you all satisfaction; and because we know the constraints of diets (vegetarian, vegan, gluten sensitive,...) we know how to adapt in this sense, to your convenience 🤗

All orders must be placed at least 3 days in advance.

For fishermen, we offer the possibility of taking catfish (the last one taken in the summer of 2024 measured 1.80 m!) and carp in a pond located a few minutes from the cottage.
