Lovely pub with rooms. Staff were very helpful and friendly and our room was cosy and quiet. We had breakfast and dinner, both of which were excellent. Parking was no problem and the pub provided a good base for exploring Cambridge and the Fens.

Lovely little property in a quiet village. All to a high standard and quirky. Only small issue was how warm the room was at night as it had been an extremely hot day.

Clean room staff were great breakfast on our first morning was amazing unfortunately our 2nd morning change of chef breakfast was very late and cold, although I did complain to the manager who just said sorry!

This is a great Hotel in this part of England. Very easy to enjoy the slow pace , great bar and good food. Quiet and within easy reach of main roads. Highly Reicommended.

A warm and welcoming stay in the heart of Ely in a lovely pub. The room was gorgeous, beautifully decorated, felt like a bijou apartment, and the bed very cosy indeed with sumptuous bedding. Very quiet, surprising for a pub on a high street . The bar downstairs is cosy with a large menu if needed. The breakfast menu also looked good but we didn’t partake. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again.

Great hotel

I stayed here 2 nights as I was booking night by night as my husband was in hospital nearby, The room had everything I needed, far more than I expected in a small country inn. Food was delicious and varied. Service was excellent and friendly.

The staff could not have done more, the food was amazing, the whole place was spotlessly clean, fridge in the room etc. The shower was the only very minor thing that let it down. We prefer a hand held one to a rose from the top… personal choice. We will certainly revisit when in the area. Great value… the pub/restaurant was LOVELY… a lot of thought has obviously gone into making it such a comfortable place to be. All the tables were spaced out well, with comfortable chairs…. The staffing levels...

A very enjoyable 2 night stay. Pleasant locaton, very helpful and polite staff and very enjoyable food. Only comment is that the roomwas really too small to have a king sized bed. Recomended.

Staffs were helpful and the restaurant offered varied menu to suit a range of preference. Bonus was the onside free parking.

I stay here as close to workplace. Rooms are all very comfortable and different. The bar and restaurant are also excellent. This is best hotel in area in my view.

A really nice spot in Bury. We loved the decor. Our room was lovely, quirky and clean The staff were very friendly the food was good overall a really nice stay. Would stay again even if it's just to see another room! Would recommend

The staff were really friendly and approachable. The meal I had was one of the best I've had in a long while. The room was really clean with a Nespresso coffee machine which for me was a really nice touch as I love my coffee. The shower was lovely and hot. I will definitely be booking there again and I can not recommend it enough. Lovely bar with a nice atmosphere. Really nice big room with Aircon which was invaluable. Big rolltop bath in the open bathroom, but it was too hot to take advantage of it. The breakfast was lovely as was dinner the previous evening. The staff were welcoming and friendly and the place very quirky My only complaint would be very little seating in the room except the bed.
