"For a well travelled long haul couple, we were anxious that Mallorca would give us what we wanted from a holiday.
We wanted peace and quiet, no crowds in a lovely unspoilt spot.
The Barefoot in Portocolom delivered in all respects. The hotel is lovely - understated but with all amenities to hand. The staff are lovely - nothing is too much trouble.
We had an issue with the room we were originally allocated but this was remedied very quickly and efficiently and we enjoyed the lovely touch of a bottle of bubbles as way of an apology for the inconvenience.
I think the mark of a good holiday/hotel is if you ask yourself at the end of your stay, if you’d come back. If the answer is ‘yes’ you know the hotel is doing something right.
We would definitely return.
