Such a cool experience in a unique rental close to Fayetteville and NRG. My wife and I loved our stay in the caboose. It was very clean and quite comfortable for the two of us with a nice bed and bathroom. The setting is also nice for sitting outside to have our breakfast coffee and cook on our portable Traeger.
This was a perfect spot we will go back to. Perfect 2-3 day stay. Next door to Cantrell whitewater rafting. Close to Ace Adventure and some local restaurants that were perfect. All of that combined make a nice family getaway.
Caboose was a great little place to stay. It was close to the National Park, and was also close to some great spots to do some rail fanning. John the owner was great with communion, and also was great at suggesting some local places to check out. Thanks so much!
My son and I stayed in the Caboose for our spring break adventure in New River National Park. Perfect location near the park as well as town. Plenty of room for 2 people. Would 100% come back.
Adorable, convenient and comfortable place for our weekend away! Plenty of space for three of us! Unique and fun! Easy booking and great communication. Located super close to many fantastic trailheads, restaurants, bars etc! Highly recommend!
We stayed in the NYC train. The train was clean and well stocked with everything that you could need. Had extra blankets, snacks and plenty of coffee options. We went whitewater rafting which was literally steps from the train. The owners manage the trains and were very nice. They invited us to help ourselves to some tomatoes they are growing.
Overall a great stay. We had an issue when we first arrived, and our host, John, immediately addressed it. Communication was super fast, and he gave us lots of tips an recommendations. The caboose is really neat. Thanks, John, we would definitely stay again!
Caboose was clean and cozy. We prefer a bigger bed but the caboose was so cute we couldn’t resist. It was a very hot day so I asked the host if he could make sure the a/c was on for us when we arrived. He made it happen. It took a while for it to cool but was eventually cold at night! We didn’t know where to take the trash at the end of our stay …instructions said to put it in the dumpster at the rafting facility …we didn’t go looking for it…so ended up taking the trash home with us.We would recommend the red caboose! It was definitely one of the more unique places we’ve ever stayed!
Great, unique place to stay. Close to town but not really within walking distance unless you want to walk the winding country road back and forth. My hubby slept on the “downstairs” bed while I slept in the “loft.” I figured the full bed would not be big enough for both of us, or any couple for that matter. I didn’t want to push my luck on the futon having had 2 back surgeries but that was my choice. The loft bed was a little soft for my liking. My only REAL complaint would be the vehicle noise as the caboose sits VERY close to the road. I would start here again.

The property work very well for what my buddy and I had intended.
Cool looking and tidy. This was the owner's childhood dream that became a reality. "Tiny house" Looks awesome, was comfy and tons to do in the area (rafting, climbing, hiking, swimming etc..)! A great holiday! Will repeat.
