Nice landscaping and green views. The unit was comfortable, including 2 nice beds. Some things were "a work in progress": the bathroom door didn't close completely; the TV was a store demo that we had trouble getting to work reliably; no hair dryer in the room, though the staff were helpful in getting us one.

Check-in and finding the place was quick and easy. Rooms/cabins look like a lot of recent refreshes were made. Rooms were exceptionally clean!

Many updates going on in this facility. Nice, quiet stay. Room was clean- only thing i had a slight problem with was the musty smell and stuffiness in the room but cracking the door open and lighting a candle helped a great deal. Property is grwat, rooms are nice, staff is very k8nd. Thank you for an enjoyable stay

We loved it! First folks to stay in this newly renovated room… Easy, friendly check in! We did a similar remote check in when in Athens, Greece last September. Feels very ‘Jetsons’ lol Beautifully re-imagined property! Thanks!

Old and outdated
The room they gave me was already occupied. So I walked into a dirty room. They didn’t have anything but a dirty small handicap room left. It was very outdated. Not very clean. Smelled like an old attic. Never again.

In reviewing your reservation, you booked a smoking room. Unfortunately, despite even the best cleaning attempts, often time a smoking room will have lingering smells of cigarette. For that reason, we always encourage guests to book non-smoking rooms unless they, too, are smokers. When you requested a room change, we did so immediately, and at no time did you state that the room was already occupied by someone else, so I am surprised to see that in your review, as I know that was not the case. We regret we were unable to meet your expectations for your recent stay.

Property was nice and peaceful. Can tell owners did a lot of updates and still updating. I had to go to a conference at Nemacolin so this was very close 4 miles... and did not have to pay outrageous price. Sad part is winter season and many restaurants closed during week. There are many cute gift shops around.

The Lodge at Chalk Hill is clean, has a nice lake where you can fish in, and was quiet. Overall a nice place to stay and there were options for hard or soft pillows which was really cool.

Wonderful location for Fort Necessity, Kentuck Knob, Fallingwater, and Ohiopyle State Park. Be sure to eat at Stone House. Note: There is no breakfast. Clean and comfortable.

The property is newly renovated, easily accessible, and great price point. The staff is super friendly. I accidentally left behind a book and earrings and they shipped them back to me the same day I had left. Cant wait to see what the conference center looks like once completed!

It was a beautiful setting. I wish the weather had been warmer so we could use the deck. The room was very nice and clean. The furnishings were up to date. The beds were comfy and we rested well. Check in was easy. I wish there were more dining options nearby. The location was easy to find (National Rd).

Great Place to stop for the night

Nice bargain Hotel
Reasonably price hotel. Looks very nice from outside, in a wooded site near a pond. Inside the rooms are a bit tight and dated. The AC worked great. The bed was comfortable. There is no breakfast - I think there were remodeling that area.
