We stayed here with our family of 5 and it worked out perfectly! Super clean and great location! The bike path which it is located right next to is amazing!!
My family and I came to the cape for a week. We loved the location to downtown. The house was great, very clean and very cozy. I want to stay there next summer we loved it to much.
This cottage in Falmouth was the perfect location within walking distance of restaurants, shopping and fun. It was like new and provided everything we needed for our first ever visit to the Cape.
We are thrilled with our recent stay in Falmouth. The adorable house was a close walk to town and next to the bike path. The house was incredibly clean with all the necessities. Sarah was very communicative and extremely responsive.
We enjoyed our stay so much at Tanglewood cottage. The house was gorgeous and newly renovated with high end finishes and expert decor while also still maintaining the charm and features original to this historic home. The location was quiet and easily walkable to shops and restaurants and we instantly fell in love with Falmouth.Local beaches were easy to access and it is an easy and convenient location to the ferry to Martha’s Vineyard. The outdoor shower and beach amenities made our daily beach trips easy and accessible. Communication from the host was excellent as well. We miss this darling home and can’t wait to come back!
Quaint home, easily walkable to downtown and also as close as you can get to bike trails. We had a wonderful time renting bikes and heading to Woods Hole for the day. The home had everything that you would need for a stay..lots of towels, updated kitchen stocked with spices for cooking, queen sized beds in both rooms. There is a bathroom upstairs next to the two bedrooms and a larger bathroom downstairs which was fine for my family but may be something to be aware of if the guest party were different. Overall, we had a fantastic stay, even took the ferry to MV for the day from Falmouth..so convenient. I Highly recommend this property.
Perfect location if you want be near Main St, the bike trail, and the beaches in Falmouth. Great place for a family to enjoy a long weekend.
One of the cleanest properties we’ve ever stayed at, and very nice accommodations overall. It’s clear that it’s been newly renovated, with all the furniture, appliances, and amenities being in good shape.
Owner is friendly and highly responsive to quick questions.
Only tip is that Google Maps doesn’t have the right location for the house, so guests will need to find the street name and guide themselves to the house from there. It is pretty close to where Google Maps thinks it is, though! (Just around the corner.)
This home and location was everything! The home was extremely clean and it had everything we needed for a family of 5. I loved waking up in the morning and taking a walk to grab coffee and breakfast. I have a 10,15 and 17 yr old and they really enjoyed the home and it’s location. Not only are there restaurants, coffee shops and restaurants but there’s also a park and on Sunday night they had live music. They also have adorable gift shops. There are several beaches that are a 10min drive but you have to pay for parking so keep that in mind. The overal best surprise was when we went for a bike ride on the trail and it led us to such a beautiful beach. We ended up going there every night and met such sweet people. We will definitely be back.
The home was all that was expected and more. Indeed, all that is advertised about this home was understated. The renovations were tasteful and thoroughly accurate for the period (we live in a c1805 post-colonial home and this one is a c1880 Victorian home or so). The home is an open airy design and is spotless in every regard. All the utilities work well. It is obvious that the home is well cared for. In terms of location, the home is uber convenient to much that Falmouth has to offer including nearby restaurants and fun shops. I started every day with a 3 mile walk and it was a pure joy passing old churches, the town square, a duck pond, the library, memorial park plus. Woods Hole is no more than 10 minutes away and well worth the drive. We are returning to the area in July for another shot vacation and hope that this home is available. It is indeed a rare gem.
Perfect location (walk to bus station, walk to bike path, walk to main street shops and restaurants), Bike rentals are just around the corner. Five minute drive to the beach. Excellent host!
House was just as pictured, very clean, nice neighborhood walking distance to town and bike path. We would rent this house again when we return to the cape. Thank you Sarah for making our stay so comfortable and welcoming.
We were in Falmouth for a wedding and had an amazing stay at this property. We were able to access the property on time and without any issues. The hosts provided a helpful manual that made the stay even more fuss-free and answered a lot of questions we might have had. The beds were very comfortable and each bedroom had a fan and an a/c unit based on what was needed. All rooms were decorated beautifully and everything was clean and well appointed. The kitchen had literally anything you could need and the washer and dryer is always so nice to have available. Many shops, restaurants and coffee shops are within short walking distance and the trail was so easy to access! All in all this was one of our favorite stays at a rental property, and we hope to visit again in the near future!
This is a perfectly charming place within walking distance to everything we needed…downtown shops and restaurants, the walking/running/biking trail and, of course, Coffee O. This lovely historic house has obviously undergone a careful and high-quality renovation and has been furnished with everything you could possibly need…really, the hosts have thought of everything. On top of that, the hosts were as nice and communicative as can be and made us feel totally welcome. I really can’t recommend this place highly enough!
This super clean, beautifully and thoughtfully restored and maintained home could not have been more ideally located for us. Even our 6-year-old was able to carry some items the day we all biked to the closest of three nearby public beaches. We walked to shops, parks, and even bowling. We appreciated the high-quality beds, linens, appliances and finishes in this home that is flooded with natural light. I think we may have used the outdoor shower exclusively because it was so pleasant (not due to any shortcomings of the beautiful indoor versions!) The room air conditioners are loud but get the job done and though we prefer fresh air on cool nights we got used to the noise. Appreciated the room-darkening bedroom curtains as well! Four stars for communication only because VRBO did not allow a texting option and though the manager and host were responsive I shouldn’t have to check email repeatedly while on vacation for basic/necessary info when a quick text can do the job.
