Enjoy your morning meditation or evening sunsets from the outside patio furnished with every possible comfort. This gorgeous custom-built guesthouse was thoughtfully designed to offer guests a peaceful and private stay. Settle in to a fully furnished, spacious one bedroom with plenty of closet space, large bathroom, laundry facilities, living room and a full-sized, fully equipped kitchen. Views abound from every window in the guesthouse. Waking up in the oh so comfortable Tempur Pedic queen sized bed with views of the well cared for property with so many plants and trees is a great way to start your day. The spacious bathroom with granite counter tops offers a beautiful shower with river rock flooring and a custom wall seat. The large built-in laundry closet with a top/bottom washer and dryer is conveniently located in this large room but out of the way and is very quiet. The kitchen has plenty of custom cabinets and granite counter top space with a pass through to an outside granite counter top for convenient barbequing and serving. The wrap around patio has entrances from the two front entrance doors as well as the bedroom and living room. We enjoy year-round temperate weather, with ocean breezes almost every afternoon. The 4.1 acre property is gated and extremely private. Our location, as a crow flies, is about 8 miles from the ocean and is close to Fallbrook, Bonsall and Oceanside, with Camp Pendleton's rolling hills directly west facing from the patio and kitchen window. In just 10 - 15 minutes you can be in Fallbrook, or Oceanside and shopping areas. Fallbrook boasts art galleries, fun boutiques, a weekly farmers market and of course, the annual Avocado Festival in April. The beaches of Oceanside and Harbor are a short 25 minute drive through our hills and down to the coast. Equally distant from the Interstate 5 and 15 going to the North, Temecula Wine Country is a 30 minute drive. There are over 40 wineries to choose from in the Temecula area with restaurants and evening entertainment. Of course, Fallbrook is becoming it's own little wine country, boasting several excellent award winning wineries - Fallbrook Winery and The Beach House Winery (located just around the corner) for a start. Downtown San Diego and the San Diego Airport is about an hour away but worth the drive to go to the Zoo, Balboa Park's museums and exhibits and so much more. Legoland is about 30 minutes away in Carlsbad. My wife and I live in the desert, and in order to escape the August heat for a few days, we reserved the guest house owned by Phil and Stephanie. They are superb hosts, and the guest house was impeccable in every detail. It was private, immaculately clean, and well stocked with every utensil, linen and paper product imaginable. We took our 14-pound dog with us, and she loved being able to run and play across the property. My wife especially admired the many large trees on the grounds, including an ancient Brazilian pepper tree just beyond the front doors. The guest house was beautiful, clean and very comfortable with a beautiful patio with a scenic view. Although their home was close to the guest house they were very respectful of our privacy and we did not see them during our visit. Stephanie was very thoughtful during a power outage at my daughter's home during our visit and offered for them to stay at the guest house if they needed to. We also needed to change our original date and they were very accommodating to allow us to. From the moment we arrived we felt at home in Ocean Breezes. The house was so comfortable, it had everything you would need for a very relaxing and quiet stay. The kitchen was very well equipped with all the self catering materials you could think of, including some extras. The coffee machine was great! The house itself was very spacious and clean. The bed was very comfortable. We did use the outside space a lot, every evening we sat on the veranda and made good use of the rocking chairs in the sunshine, it was perfect! The views were lovely down into the valley. Stephanie and Phil were great hosts and kindly let us help ourselves to the home grown vegetables in the garden, the tomatoes were so ripe and made fantastic bruschettas! Stephanie and Phil were attentive hosts and also very accommodating for any privacy we wanted. We were welcome to stroll on the property, we were welcome to the fruit that was growing, which included lemons, oranges, clementines, grapefruits, avocados, passionfruit, cherry tomatoes, and mint.When we arrived there were fresh flowers, and a bottle of wine and some quick instructions for our stay. Any questions or need we had, which weren’t many, were quickly responded to with a solution. The guest house is beautiful and has everything we needed. As someone who stays and likes to cook, I appreciated the extra things not usually found such as food wrap, storage containers, freezer bags, extra dish towels and dish rags, an apron, sharp knives, decent wine glasses, well stocked cooking and food prepared tools. There was also flour, sugar, brown sugar, and spices.we had a dog with us and she was welcomed with food and water dishes and waste bags.The guest house was perfect to watch sunsets, barbecue, there are a few places to sit and dine outdoors. Very bright with lots of big windows, tall doors, lots of closet space and a comfy bed. We love the house, felt like very honoured guests and really appreciated the welcome we received. We can’t wait to go back! The guest house reflects the hosts, classy with great taste.We have been hesitant of casitas due to uncertainty for privacy but we were not disappointed ##### Tree D. Our stellar hosts, Stephanie and Phil, mindfully furnished and stocked every aspect of the gorgeous and comfortable indoor space. The ample grounds, wrap around veranda and amazing views made spending time outside spectacular. We had a great stay and highly recommend it for individuals and couples. They were so kind and thoughtful. The guesthouse is very nice and private and far enough away from their home to make it feel it’s on its own. The place is very nice and up to date and very clean. Lots of wineries and hiking trails in the area. Would recommend this place to those wanting a weekend getaway or just a quiet place to relax. Stayed here for a quick trip while our monster visited his grandparents in Fallbrook. Quiet, private, clean, immaculate grounds, unmatched hosts and exactly as described.
