From the outset the reception was chaotic with lots of noisey people. I had to queue for self check-in. I queried why there was a £5 car parking charge when this hadn't been pointed out prior to my booking. I asked why this was and he said because I booked with Expedia. So be careful. The hotel was ...

The Grand Hotel Swansea
Great location and very pleasant room. Staff very helpful. Breakfast service was slow, but great food. No lift when we stayed as it was being replaced, so 4 floors to climb, but staff carried luggage. Good value for money.
