The property is really nice with plenty of space and a nice view. We really enjoyed staying here. Everything is good except the approach road leading to the property. It could become treacherous in wintry or foggy weather. The shower glass in the bathroom could be cleaner.

Beautiful, quiet cabin

The house is even better than the pictures! Plenty of space, extremely clean, and all the comforts of home. Highly recommend, wish we could have stayed longer.

We truly enjoyed our stay. The home is very comfortable and well equipped. Although the driveway is a bit of a challenge we were grateful to have a 4-wheel drive vehicle that made it much easier. If we have an opportunity to return we will definitely return to this home.

Easy check in process. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The property is quiet and peaceful. The host responded very quickly to all of my questions. I recommend this property and I would definitely stay there again the next time I’m in town.

Golf Outing

The Ledge was perfect for our golf outing and battlefield tour. The location and accommodation was exactly as advertised and a good fit for four friends on our yearly golf getaway. Would certainly stay again.

Perfect small group getaway!

A few families from our travel soccer team stayed together at the Ledge while in town for a soccer tournament and some sightseeing. The Ledge proved a great stay for our family and friends and we’d recommend it to anyone. Everything was clean, comfortable, and easy to use/find.

Ski Liberty Weekend

Went up for a weekend of tubing at ski liberty and it was the perfect stay. Lodge was easily big enough for us all and had excellent notes throughout the house so we never had to ask any questions.

Amazing Memories Made

We had an absolute blast staying at this property with our family. The layout was perfect for the 10 of us. Everything was super clean. The beds were very comfortable. We already talked about coming back again next year.

The cabin was absolutely perfect. The fireplace was large enough to heat the entire first floor, the kitchen was updated beautifully as well as the living spaces. I also loved the location which was isolated from other cabins and high up on the mountain. In would give this cabin an A+!

NFF Weekend Stay

We didn’t get to spend a lot of time at the house, but my family was impressed with the room and number of beds The driveway is a doozy 😬. The weather didn’t cooperate but it would have been fun to take advantage of the outdoor spaces. Thank you for the stay!

Friends Getaway

Gettysburg was our target for this weekend. Great location and Great property. As add states the driveway is a doozy but nothing that can’t be handled at this time of year no matter your vehicle. Peaceful and beautiful, home is cozy and comfortable with all you need for the home away from home.

Men's Get-a-way

My husband and his friends stayed at the Ledge for a quick trip to get together. This location was perfect as the 4 of them were traveling from all different directions. The home provided all the amenities they needed for a relaxing visit. This will probably become a tradition!!

Wonderfulness

I haven't slept that well in a LONG time. I love the atmosphere and the beauty of the woods. The kitchen was well stocked. There were some areas that could have been cleaned a bit better, but overall, it was an incredible place. I would absolutely recommend this place. The owners were very responsive to communication. Excellent!

Relaxing Mountain Getaway

A friend’s daughter performed this weekend at Gettysburg College. We were a group of childhood friends and absolutely loved your house. There was plenty of space and it was very clean and comfortable. My friend was the first to arrive and almost cried when she saw the Christmas tree. What a nice touch! We already talked about “next time”!

Reconnecting with friends unforgettable !!!

The place was perfect!! for a get together to reconnect with friends. We had a group of 8 adults and there was plenty of space for all of us. Location was excellent, secluded yet only a short drive to Gettysburg. The home was super clean. Made use of the grill and kitchen which had everything you would need to prepare meals. The host was very responsive to any concerns and/or questions. All of us had a great time!!!! Would definitely reccommend. Thanks!! for letting us stay at your home!!

Great house and location

The legend of liberty Hill was A great fit for our family vacation visiting Gettysburg. The layout of the home was just perfect with two bedrooms upstairs and two bedrooms downstairs. The master bedroom has a huge bathroom, which was just perfect for my father-in-law who has a walker and a little extra space. The house was labeled So clearly, they had a really nice welcome book when you walked in,, Super clean, it was nice having three full bathrooms, fully stocked kitchen, games, and everything you could possibly think of. Really nice job.! And good location to Gettysburg and a ski slope! My only two comments are the two basement bedrooms were very hot and stuffy even with ceiling fans. We had to move an air conditioner unit downstairs, which didn’t help much. And we were a little disappointed that the hockey game table was broken when we arrived. Honestly, no big deal our kids had plenty of things to entertain themselves. I think adults were more disappointed they couldn’t play it.

Family trip to a sporting event in Emmittsburg, MD. Space was very good and kitchen well equipped. Having two floors with bedrooms, bathrooms and living spaces worked out well.
