The unit was very cute and comfortable. Location was great, as it was close to family we were visiting. There was no interaction with the host, prior to our stay. It always needed, but just a good touch, to get a feel for what the overall expectation is for all parties. There wasn’t anything wrong with the unit, however the door lock was wonky, and this was mentioned with the check-in instructions.We were locked out of the unit for about an hour overall, we weren’t able to gain access with the electric lock, and there was no key on the table under the lantern, as advised in the check-in instructions. We reached out to the host for assistance by phone and VRBO messaging, but to no avail. VRBO also tried to reach out but to no avail. After playing with the door a bit more, we were finally able to gain access to the unit. Once we figured out the quirk with the lock, we were fine. The host did eventually call back, but we were in the unit. We asked for the WiFi log in, as we had messaged earlier in the day about access. We were then provided with the log in, but were never able to access the WiFi. The TV in the unit is Roku and because of no WiFi, the TV wasn’t working.There were no courtesy drinks, coffee, or hair dryer provided. It’s not necessary, but always a nice touch.We bought pillows at a local store, because we like multiple and left them behind, due to traveling space.
