Off the touristic streams near the tuscan-umbrian border on a hilltop surrounded by the umbrian landscape is situated this charming farmhouse 'Casa Francesca'. Its breathtaking panoramic views over the hills and valleys are unique. The apartment 'Rosmarin' has been restored with a meticulous eye for detail thoughout. The rooms are tastefully furnished and the kitchen is well equipped with cooking utensils. You will enjoy the privacy of the pool or sitting on your terrace in the evening and watch the stars come out in full force. It is truly a haven to get away from the hustle and bustle of reality and find some peace. Despite the quiet and peace of the location it is an ideal starting point for day trips to the historical points such as Orvieto, Perugia, Siena, Assisi. You can reach Lago Bolsena and Lago Trasimeno in 45 minuts, both are worth visiting.

Wir haben das bekommen was wir gesucht haben, eine herrliche Wohlfühloase mit traumhaften Pool und 360° Blick. Ruhe und Erholung sind garantiert. Helmi u. Peter sind ganz reizende Gastgeber. Wir empfehlen das Casa Francesca wärmstens weiter.

Oase van rust
We hebben een geweldige week gehad op een betoverende locatie. De eigenaren Helmi en Peter hebben ons zeer welkom laten voelen. Door het prachtig gelegen zwembad hadden we elke dag een heerlijke afsluiting van onze boezoekjes aan de omringende stadjes. We wilden totvrust komen en dat is zeker gelukt.

Entspannter Urlaub in herrlicher Natur
Das Haus liegt auf einer einsamen Anhöhe mit herrlicher Aussicht über die Hügel von Umbrien und der nahe gelegenen Toskana, ideal um Ruhe und Entspannung zu finden. Der Olivenhain und der große, schöne, gepflegte Garten mit vielen Pflanzen laden zum Verweilen und Spazieren ein. Eine wunderbare Erfrischung bietet der große Pool inmitten des Gartens. Helmi und Peter sind wunderbare Vermieter und sehr zuvorkommende Gastgeber, wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Wir haben uns vom ersten Augenblick an sehr wohlgefühlt. Der Rundum-Ausblick, das Abkühlen im großzügigen und gepflegten Pool, die netten Gespräche mit den durchwegs freundlichen Besitzern sind nur wenige von vielen Gründen diese Unterkunft mit gutem Gewissen weiterzuempfehlen. Ebenso ist man trotz idyllischer Lage recht gut an das Verkehrsnetz angebunden. Die großen Städte Rom und Florenz sind mit dem Auto in ca.1 Std.45 Min.erreichbar. Wer es ruhiger mag, kann die vielen kleinen romantischen Dörfer in der Umgebung erkunden.

Beste Ferien
Wer einen ruhigen, sehr angenehmen Urlaub in Umbrien verbringen möchte, ist mit der Casa Francesca bestens beraten. Es ist ein house with a view, 360 Grad bestes Waldhügelland und in der nahen Ferne etliche Hügelstädte. Wir haben von hier aus Ausflüge nach Todi, Citta di Pieve, Orvieto, Bolsena und Viterbo gemacht; liegt alles in gut erreichbarer Autonähe. Der Pool ist große Klasse, und da das Haus nur 2 Ferienwohnungen hat, nie überfüllt. Auch die Aussicht vom Pool aus ist traumhaft. Die Gastgeber Helmtraut und Peter sind nett, hilfsbereit, kundig und stets für ein gutes Gespräch zu haben. Man sollte nicht unbedingt mit einem tiefergelegten Sportwagen anreisen; die letzten zwei-, dreihundert Meter zum Haus sind rustikal, aber eigentlich unproblematisch. Alles in Allem: Unbedingt empfehlenswert.

Erholsamer Urlaub mit Weitblick im Dreiländereck Umbrien - Toskana - Latium
Wir haben uns in der Casa Francesca 10 Tage lang sehr wohlgefühlt. Die Wohnung ist liebevoll und zweckmäßig eingerichtet und ausgestattet, allerdings ohne TV. Das Gelände auf dem Gipel eines kleinen Hügels ist weitläufig und bietet viel Platz und Sitzgelegenheiten. Ein besonderes Plus ist der Pool mit einer super Aussicht auf die umliegenden Hügel. Ausflüge sind in die Toskana (Montepulciano, Pienza etc.), nach Latium (Bolsena-See, Viterbo etc.) und nach Umbrien (Orvieto, Perugia, Assisi, Trasimenischer See etc.) sehr gut möglich. Das deutsche Vermieterpaar hat uns sehr freundlich empfangen und hilfreiche Tipps zur Umgebung gegeben. Wir haben besonders die Stille und nachts den wunderbaren Sternenhimmel genossen. Eigenes Olivenöl vom Grundstück zum Erwerb. Wir können die Casa Francesca für einen Urlaub sehr empfehlen, es ist ein wunderschönes Fleckchen Erde zur Erholung.
