The best areas to stay in Ezzaouite are within the Medina for a traditional experience or in the Hivernage district for a more modern stay. The Medina, the old walled city, is ideal for couples and travellers who want to be in the heart of the action. It's a maze of narrow alleyways and bustling souks (markets), with the Djemaa el-Fna square at its centre, famous for its storytellers and food stalls. Many riads, traditional Moroccan guesthouses with inner courtyards, are located within these winding streets, offering a private and authentic stay. You'll be within walking distance of landmarks like the Koutoubia Mosque and Bahia Palace. For those who prefer a more contemporary setting with wider streets and upscale amenities, the Hivernage district is an excellent choice. It's located just outside the Medina walls, making it easily accessible by taxi. This area is known for its elegant hotels, sophisticated restaurants, and gardens. It's a good fit for couples looking for luxury accommodation and a more relaxed pace after a day of exploring.

The best time to visit Ezzaouite, Marrakech, is during the spring (March to May) and autumn (September to November) months.During these periods, the weather is pleasantly warm and sunny, with average temperatures ranging from 20°C to 28°C. This makes it ideal for exploring the city's outdoor attractions, such as the Jemaa el-Fnaa square, the Bahia Palace, and the Majorelle Garden, without the intense heat of summer. You'll find it comfortable for walking through the souks and enjoying al fresco dining.Couples often find these seasons superb for a romantic getaway. The milder climate allows for relaxed strolls through the medina's winding alleyways and enjoying rooftop dinners under clear skies. It's also a good time for day trips to the Atlas Mountains, where the scenery is particularly beautiful with spring blooms or autumn colours. While the winter months (December to February) are also mild, they can bring cooler evenings and occasional rain.
