Very nice Gîte and location

Very nice holiday home with lots of privacy. The house was fully equipped and had air-conditioning in every room. Nice size garden with pool. The owner was really friendly and helped us with tips and suggestions.

Love the Dordogne

The property was excellent, nice and quiet and well maintained. No shops very local, but no problem finding them. Swimming pool not large but very adequate. A most enjoyable holiday.

We had a wonderful time at Le Roc. This property is very well maintained, everything is clean and spotless. The property has everything you need, beautiful garden, inviting pool and stunning surroundings. Mrs Ghion and her daughter Corinne were super helpful and very welcoming. We got a bottle of Bergerac wine, duck pate and a baguette on arrival which I thought was a lovely touch. Bergerac is a 10 min drive away with lots of offer. We took the advantage to visit St Emilion, Sarlat and the amazing Sunday market at Issigeac. Mrs Ghion also gave us courgettes from her garden, which we brought home back to England to cook. This is a beautiful part of the world and I would recommend Le Roc for families.

Un petit écrin au milieu de la nature où calme et sérénité s'invitent. Un accueil personnalisé, une gérante disponible et bonne conseillère en matière de découvertes touristiques et culinaires des environs. un séjour reposant et agréable au coeur de la campagne

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour chez Corinne qui est une Hôte accueillante et aux petits soins pour ses locataires. Le gîte est plus que bien équipé. Rien ne nous a manqué. Il est très propre et vraiment très agréable. L'extérieur avec sa grande terrasse, son jardin et sa piscine privée sont un vrai plus très apprécié. Le domaine lui même est très propre et reposant. Niché au coeur de la campagne, attention, il vous faudra impérativement une voiture. Le seul point négatif est l'espace bien être indiqué dans la description et qui a été un facteur de sélection de ce gîte mais qui était malheureusement hors service depuis quelques temps déjà. Nous recommandons toutefois vivement ce bel endroit et Corinne.

Superbe séjour en Dordogne au Domaine du Roc

Un superbe séjour ! Repos et tranquillité assurée ! La propriétaire est très gentille et très à l’écoute de ses locataires .Nos deux beaucerons étaient également avec nous et ça c’est un plus ! la maison est superbe ainsi que sa piscine privée et son jardin clôturé .Je recommande ce domaine à 200% . Le coin est très sympa pour de très jolies balades à pied ..

Der Kontakt mit Frau Ghion war unkompliziert und sehr freundlich. Das Haus übertrafe unsere Erwartungen, die Küche war mit allen erdenklichem Qualitätsprodukten ausgestattet. Das Haus ist modern eingerichtet und befand sich in einem sehr sauberen Zustand. Auch unser Hund konnte den großen Garten genießen, was sehr wichtig für Hundehalter ist. Während unseres Urlaubs haben wir immer gute Tipps von Frau Ghion bekommen. Auch noch mal vielen Dank, dass ich mich an ihrem Feigenbaum bedienen durfte, tolle Erfahrung diese Früchte direkt zu ernten. Wir können das Haus jederzeit weiter empfehlen.

The perfect location for the perfect vacation

Our family and friends (in the house next door) had the best time at Domaine le Roc. The house was perfect: clean, roamy and fully equipped, the garden was gigantic for the children to play in, the owners are extremely friendly and helpful, etc. And for people that drive an electric car like me, there’s a power socket next to the parking space. We stayed for 2 weeks and we loved it.

De belles vacances

Après nos grandes vacances de l'année dernière, nous sommes de retour cette année pleine de joie. Martine était géniale, nous nous sentions très à l'aise. Nous avons bien dormi dans le nouveau lit. La nouvelle table de ping-pong et la piscine déjà familière ont été des moments forts pour tout le monde. The gite is very well presented and has all the amenities & utensils required to cook a 3 course meal if required! Unfortunately the pool was not open at this time of year but is well secured so that our inquisitive 3 year old twins couldn’t wander in. Stayed here for the last week of the summer holiday with our three kids; a 4 year old and twin girls of 20 months. The accommodation was perfect. The pool was great, and was easily secured so the kids couldn't wonder into the pool area, which allowed them to fully enjoy the garden. The accommodation is 20mins from the airport and 15 mins from Bergerac. Highly recommended.

I couldn’t recommend a stay at one of Martine’s gites highly enough, the holiday was perfect!

We had a fantastic week. On arrival we were greeted by Martine who gave us a very warm welcome and a quick tour of the gite and also gave us a bag containing some local bread, duck pate and some wine, which was a lovely touch and not expected. The gite was perfect, very clean, well maintained and well-appointed with everything we could have needed for our stay. The outside area was also very good, lovely and quiet with a bbq supplied and also a few games and good views over the fields. The pool was also fantastic and a perfect size for all five of us to swim, play games and cool off after long hot days exploring the area. Martine was also very helpful in suggesting some local places to visit, she also popped in a couple of times with bags of peaches that she had picked for us. I couldn’t recommend a stay at one of Martine’s gites highly enough, the holiday was perfect! Thank you Martine for making our week very special. We hope to see you again soon.
