"This is a very posh, small (24 room) 5* hotel, located right in the center of the small town of Banska Stiavnica. We were the only guests that night, because the hotel had blocked reservations to get organized for the summer season (and forgot to block Expedia). Absolutely stunning location with a great view from the terrace. Breakfast and lunch at the restaurant were delicious. Steak tartar was flawless. Staff very helpful, especially as we were travelling with a toddler- nothing was too much trouble. Loved the home made jam at breakfast. We would definitely return. Thank you for your hospitality.
