Great pool and cool rooms

We had a hotel reservation we made at 11:55pm to stay and get a few hours of sleep due to a flight delay and missed connection. After getting pushed back to even later we arrived to get a few hours of sleep and were told we could not have our room since it was after midnight. A room that we paid in full for already! So had to go sleep at the airport for 5 hours. The hotel left a room sitting open that we paid $200 for just because we arrived after midnight. Waiting for hotels.com to refund our money for an unused room and they are not responding to multiple messages. Awful customer service by both the hotel and hotels.com

Staff don’t hover, but they also don’t miss. Requests are handled quickly and correctly the first time, which is harder to find than it should be at luxury hotels. Dining on-site at Fearing’s is a standout. It feels like a destination restaurant that just happens to be inside your hotel rather than a convenience add-on. Breakfast service is equally dialed in—consistent, calm, and not chaotic even during peak hours. The location in Uptown is a real advantage: walkable to solid dining and nightlife, but the hotel itself stays insulated from the noise. This is not a trendy, flashy stay. It’s controlled, mature luxury that prioritizes consistency over spectacle. If you know what you’re booking, it delivers at every level.
