It was clean and nicely put together. There are 4 bedrooms and two bathrooms. Huge master bedroom with a queen-sized bed and two other rooms with queen beds as well. One of the rooms has a single bed. One of the rooms has access to the common bathroom which is really nice. We were very happy with our stay here and it will be our go-to house when we stay in Eureka. It's in a great neighborhood that is within walking distance of Rite Aid, bakeries, and a small bar. Once our house was cleaned they let us know so we could check in early. It's a spacious house and it has a little backyard with outdoor dining or lounging. Kitchen was well stocked. House had interesting furniture, nice flooring, big screen TV and Japanese art. Front door lock was difficult from the start, when we needed help to get in the house. Apparently, the lock needed battery replacement, which Jen helped with. Even after that, it sometimes took a number of attempts to unlock the door. Very awkward lock. Jen was professional and timely once we contacted her by phone. House was always too warm when we returned from a day of activities. It has no A/C and we needed to open windows at night to cool it down from 77 degrees. Thermostat had no effect on temperature in the house. House seems to have been made for tall people. Mirror in one bathroom was too high for an average person to see themselves in. Also, desk counter in hall was very high to sit at. ##### Rich W.
