Great service, interesting history. LV floors in the rooms - so a bit noisy. We had a good overnight stay.

The Inn is very dated, but that may be what some people are after. Unfortunately, I was not a fan of the small pillows, fluorescent office lighting in the room, and the shower water took close to 10 min to get warm.
Nice old Historic Hotel, with a great history and story. But, you definitely have to drive for food/beverage. There are numerous one way roads and steep hills. Also there is an obvious homeless problem in this town, very sad.
It's a very nice modern hotel in an old historic building. We enjoyed the sitting area near the lobby and also looking at all the pictures of famous guests who stayed at Eureka Inn over the years.
Very interesting historic hotel with interesting momentous and photos. Staff was friendly and location an easy walk to everything. Breakfast was so so. Would stay there again.
It is located in a central place where most places are easily walkable. Their breakfast was quick & easy, I managed to visit their lounge once and it was a nice place. I have stayed here since 1987, and like its historic slant.
Beautiful classic hotel that was amazingly maintained. And so much history on display. A fantastic place to stay and not even need to adventure outside for an experience
Location, Location, Location! The bar should open up around Noon or 1. 5 is too late. Fyi

Place is so neat ! Will definitely stay there again. Down fall the restaurant was closed permanently at the hotel. The pool and hotel were closed as well.
The hotel awful. I understand it’s historical but the rooms are old and out dated. Looks like they may have tried to restore but it was done on the cheap and a horrible job. Had a ton of perfume air freshener to cover smell Wyndham not even sure how this could have your approval. Horribly disappointed
Charming, clean and reasonable priced. Good location with an easy walk to downtown shops. Beautiful lobby and so much history. Light breakfast provided. The double room was good for two but it has the smallest bathroom I’ve ever seen in a hotel.
Such a cool place. I wish I could see it in its glory and original decor. I also wish that the people working there knew some facts or aaany history about the place. It was clean and cozy in our rooms. If you like weird American history, it’s a must stay hotel.

We love staying at Eureka Inn. Gorgeous old school feel. This was our third time staying at Eureka Inn. We discovered black ants in our bathroom. When we approached management, they offered to change or spray for ants. We chose to stay in that room and the ant spray worked. Our last night, a loud noise started at ~2:30 Am and continued all night. It emanated from the vent in the bathroom and sounded like it was associated with the wind and rain. The manager came up immediately after we checked out and agreed that it was an eerie, loud sound. I will follow up to understand the nature of that noise as it kept us up the rest on the night.
Had a great time at this historic place. I never knew such a cool hotel was in my backyard. Booked this to attend the Eagle House NYE party and will definitely recommend to everyone I know. I love the Art Deco style and the old Hollywood look. I also think the amenities they have are nice. They even have umbrellas to borrow for rainy months. Parking was so easy and it’s gated and locked for safety. Close enough to old town and far enough from any scary parts. Definitely booking a summer bday here. The pool look fabulous and the cafe and rooms are beautiful.
The hotel was lovely. Something right out of the 1940's. Beautiful lobby, fireplace, Old world charm. Parking was across the street and it was raining many nights but not really a problem. Great continental breakfast, an on site lounge/bar, and was very close to the downtown shops and tourist attractions.
I love staying at this hotel. It's a gem, with very decent prices. It's especially fun if you love history. When I'm in the area, this is the ONLY place I stay (after several years of trying out other places at a variety of price ranges).
Bedding was just perfect. Absolutely beautiful Christmas decorations in the lobby! Staff were very friendly. I didn’t like lot of ants at desk area, which reached my coffee, the spider on the top oh the wall and holes in window cover.
Love the vintage vibe and the history here. Room was very comfortable but the windows here are original / single pane and the street below is a 2 lane / one-way / shortcut taken by a lot of (noisy) trucks, etc... That's really the only issue I had. Hard to avoid this anywhere you go and it's too expensive to retrofit windows in a place like this so... Earplugs work. Breakfast was far better than most other 'continental' offerings. I'd stay here again.
