The stay was good, we were not asked if we needed room service as we were there three days, we had to ask for trash bags, and towels. Also there was mold coming from the main window in the front room. The rest of it was great, the kids lo Ed the pool and hit tub. They used it every night after our outings to see the redwoods.

Room and property were average clean, as I am seeing more and more as I travel, as though the bare minimum of cleaning is now the norm. Not disappointed, just not impressed with the way every property to which I travel settles for this level of cleanliness.

No pets allowed at all. Solid hotel if you’re passing through this small town. I booked it and expected the hotel to be in Eureka but it was about an hour away. The town was small and seemed stagnant and very very old. Everything around was permanently closed or looked closed. Linens very clean, gave me 2 bath towels, 2 hand towels, 2 washcloths. Coin laundry machine and pool. Free breakfast. Biggest complaint is I could hear every single door open and close, I could also hear everything happening on n the parking lot (trucks pulling in, car doors closing, etc). Hotel is nothing special by any means, but a solid safe clean room to sleep in if passing through. All the staff was very helpful

Very clean and tidy rooms. Our room was cleaned and made even without asking. One of the front desk people, Sam, was lightning quick and super helpful in getting the microwave plugged in and working literally within 1 minute of reporting it, so kudos! Great stay overall and would recommend. Parking was plenty and easy. Breakfast was just okay, nothing special.

I did not eat the breakfast, preferring to visit Ramone's Bakery in Eureka. My favorite part of Comfort Inn is its location across the street from Eel River Brewpub, and walking trail along the river.
