Great hotel. Bueatifully aged building with everything renovated to nowadays best confort. We loved it. It has a great tabern, very good restaurant and hearty breakfast.

We loved this hotel! We stayed in the new building and loved the size of our room. The furnishings were modern and well appointed. Loved the heated floors and towel warmer in the bathroom. Great location, very convenient to castles in the area. Parking could be an issue in the busy season but we didn’t have any problems since it was the shoulder season.

Beautiful hotel located in the charming town of Fuessen. Wonderful atmosphere; great food; excellent service and it was a delight to see the hotel decorated for the holidays adding a special warmth and welcome. Additionally, they were very kind to allow our two big dogs to join us:)

A definite must stay!
Probably one of the best hotel stays we’ve ever had. The staff members were all so amazing and really made a big difference for us. They were kind and so helpful. The hotel and room was extremely clean and spacious. The restaurant was delicious. We will definitely be back.

An older hotel but very convenient.
This is an older hotel: it has character but limitations. In addition to my room not having a/c, an in-room safe or a kettle (many other German hotels lack these things too) my room had only one free electrical socket plus a couple more in the bathroom. The only way to cool the room was to open a window. The furniture is older although bed was comfortable. The hotel is an easy walk from the station and very close to a supermarket.

We loved every minute. Alexis was super helpful and shared local spots. Our stay came with a bus card we were able to use to get to the castles. Breakfast was amazing, space was beautiful. Next door to market for snacks and across the street from old town. I could not rave more about our stay and Füssen

Hotel Hirsch was a great stay.
Very nice hotel and friendly staff. We stayed in newer building. Had excellent dinner in hotel restaurant. Convenient to city center and other attraction in Fussen area.

Wonderful little hotel.
This is a very quaint Bavarian hotel. It was very clean, beds were comfortable, service impeccable. They even had a washer and dryer for guest use in basement. 4E each. Worked very well. Weatedinner there one evening and it was wonderful. I highly recommend this hotel. So convenient to castles.

Cute, comfortable hotel
We enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Hirsch overall and would consider staying there again if we were going to be in the area. The front of the building reminds me of something out of a Wes Anderson film, and the inside is equally cute and comfortable with an updated, yet traditional Bavarian feel. Our room had wood flooring and a rug, which is something I don't often see in hotels! Dinner at the hotel restaurant was an enjoyable experience as well. As a note for American travelers, if you're visiting during hot weather (we were not), our room did not have A/C. We did, however, have a very large window that opened. I'm guessing evenings in the alps are cool most of the year, but it's just something to keep in mind. One negative was the laundry room. We had to pay 4 euro per wash and per dry. The biggest issue here was that the drums were small-- despite the room's ability to accommodate a much larger washer/dryer, so we had to do multiple loads. For reference to the amount of clothes we had, we were traveling with carry-ons. The worst part of it all was that we ATTEMPTED to dry the same small load twice, and it was still wet 8 euro later! We ended up having to hang both loads up all over our hotel room, including on the heated towel rack, as well as run an oscillating fan to try to get them dry by morning. Had I known about the drying issue, especially since we were staying only one night, I would have made a different choice with our laundry.

In Fussen the hotel may be overshadowed by the beauty of the area. But despite this, Hotel Hirsch is a very attractive hotel. They have a rooftop patio with a panoramic view of the mountains, a great breakfast, and the rooms are nicely decorated. the only small issue I had was with the front desk. When a customer is standing there, I think it's better practice to attend to them first unless you are actively communicating with another guest, instead of making them wait a few minutes while you finish typing an email. I could be more patient yes, so it's just a small nit-pick but one unique to only this hotel on our trip.

The hotel is gorgeous and the town is beautiful. It is very convenient to visit the castles. Decoration is from the area and it is impeccable. The breakfast was wonderful too. Downsides: room does not have A/C (which luckily was not such a big deal as it was cool), but we cracked the windows open to get the room cooled and we could hear traffic all night. The room is gorgeous though, so if A/C is not an issue for you, this should be fine.

Hotel was unique and fun. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Room was clean and large. Only down side was no air conditioning and late evening street noise forced us to shut windows so room was warm overnight during heat spell. Breakfast spread was well done and delicious. Would recommend with its great location.

Perfect family hotel.
Gorgeous hotel that makes you feel like you are stepping back in time. Family quad room had large queen bed, sitting area, and two alcoves with twin beds in them which was great for our kids. Area was safe and walkable and we enjoyed slipping away at night to the attached Biergarten. Breakfast the next morning was amazing, even my kid who usually skips breakfast enjoyed it.
