Kitchen was great, and that couch is soooo comfortable! It took us less than 5 minutes to downtown and \~10 minutes to get to the park. Be aware, no AC, but we had the windows open during the day while we were gone. We were there for 3 nights and the 2nd morning there were over 30 elk just outside the window! The host Kim and her husband were outstanding and extremely helpful. Very highly recommended. Very close to town and in fact next to the Estes lake hiking trail. Rocky Mountains National park very close. The hikes at lumpy road(gem lake and the other) are great and mills lake and the hike near bear lake are mind blowing, just be prepared, in winter they are a bit challenging stamina wise but well worth it.
