This newly renovated home provides the feel of a true modern-day lodge with all the comforts of a cozy home. If you are looking for that true mountain experience, then Sunset Lodge is your ticket to mountain paradise. Nestled among the tall pines, wildlife such as bear, elk, deer, bobcat, and coyote leisurely meander through this spacious 2-acre lot. Pictures are worth a thousand words at this location. This gorgeous home sleeps eight people comfortably. As you walk into this home, you will see the beautiful tongue and groove ceiling, hardwood floors, and the moss rock center fireplace, illuminating both the living room and the dining room that seats eight. The newly designed kitchen with a center island offers seating for four and provides you with all the amenities you need to prepare delicious meals for family and friends. Just down the hallway is the master suite with its own bathroom, a large walk-in shower, closet, dresser, ceiling fan, and TV. In the second bedroom, you will find a queen-size bed, dresser, and closet with a shared Jack and Jill bathroom. In the third bedroom is a bunk bed with two twin beds and a separate queen-size bed. This family-friendly home will amaze you with the downstairs game room and movie room. We were all 7 happy with our stay. The accommodations were perfect for our two families. Our adult kiddos loved the game and movie rooms. Hot tub was lovely, but it’s the views that make this space extra special. The queen room doesn’t have any curtains, so our guests in there were kept awake by the light from the master bath and of course couldn’t sleep in. Other than that, this place is hard to beat for a winter wonderland getaway! First night we had big buck come down the back rocks. First morning we had at least 100 turkeys in the yard. To start the property management went out of their way to secure a package that delivered early. Once arriving we were mesmerized by the home and location. The home was the perfect size and layout for our entire stay with the 6 of us. The games and wall scrabble in the finished basement were a great treat after long days in Estes and Rocky Mountain National Park. Much less the hot tub looking at the Billion Dollar View were great to soak the muscles after many miles of hiking! The house was amazing with excellent views and we even saw a mommy and baby elk in the yard the last night! So much room and so relaxing! This was the absolute best property I have stayed at using VRBO. Everything was immaculate. The view from the deck was phenomenal. The decor was so welcoming and cozy. I loved all the signage on the light switches so I knew what I was turning on and off. I would definitely recommend staying here and hope to be back in the future. ##### Carly R. Our family recently stayed at this home for 3 nights and absolutely loved it. We wish we could have stayed longer! Our kids are 18, 16, and 12, and the bedroom configuration was perfect for us. The house and the views are even more beautiful than the images in the listing. This home is spacious and offers privacy while still being close to town and all the things we wanted to see in the area. The deck and views are beautiful and we had lots of fun in the game room! Location is great, just out of “town” but a quick drive to all Estes Park has to offer. We enjoyed the hot tub, views and privacy. Be sure to hike or drive up the road a bit to get an amazing view of Lake Estes and town. All amenities were as described. So many TVs throughout but would prefer to have one available on the main floor in the great room. We were there during March Madness so wanted to keep up on the games. Thanks for sharing such a great stay. We enjoyed ourselves and hope to return again some day! ##### Danielle H. The views and location alone make staying here worthwhile. But, the interior of the house is the icing on the cake! Spacious, clean, well equipped and so comfortable! Coffee on the deck, watching the wild turkeys run by, breakfast with my family at the big kitchen Island. Evenings by the fire pit and in the hot tub enjoying the magnificent views! We are traveling with our soon to be high school senior and spending time and making memories with him is our priority. This house and these mountains exceeded our expectations. Our stay at this property was wonderful! The house was perfect for our group, was well-appointed with everything we needed, and was beautiful, well kept, and clean. The layout was light and inviting and the spacious kitchen worked great for our group . The kids (all ages) loved the hangout space downstairs and the adults enjoyed relaxing on the deck with beautiful views. The owners thought of everything we could need to make the most of our stay. During our stay, we had some very minor issues (wifi trouble, a door that wouldn't lock, and a light issue), and the property manager was quick to respond and incredibly helpful in resolving those issues promptly, professionally, and kindly the same day & with no disruption in our vacation at all. I would highly recommend this property to others. We really enjoyed this property and hope we can return soon! ##### Nancy R.
