I think the property is a little dated and some things maybe need to be pointed out in the description. The property does not have air conditioning. Even in Estes Park, July is pretty warm. With windows open it was nearly comfortable, but rough on my allergies. Also, the hot tub is not very private. Sure, you need a code to get in and it is reserved for your unit, but you have to leave your unit and walk near the pool to the hot tub. All in all it was a good stay. With that being said, the property was not in great shape. There were exposed wires leading to our unit, chipped paint and a leak in our ceiling over bed. The maintenance man came to look but all he did was push the bed forward so we wouldn’t get dripped on our heads while sleeping. Also, the advertised hot tub was not directly attached to the unit. It would have been nice to have a few basics like sugar or saran wrap or foil--things like that--on the property. We have had that at other VRBO properties. Everything we needed was provided. Our overall rating is 3 stars because the entire property seems in need of an update...it was just a bit more run down than we expected.
