A fully equipped kitchen will allow you to feel at home during your Estes Park vacation. My favorite feature is the great views off the front porch. It\`s surrounded by mountains and you can walk into the National Park. BEDROOMS My home offers 1 bedroom, plus sleeping for two more on a living room sofa bed. Bedroom 1 - A comfortable memory-foam mattress will ensure a good night sleep after a long day of hiking. Attached is a closet for your gear. There are cool bohemian curtains on bedroom door and on one window, while the eastern windows feature blackout shades to ensure a sound night\`s rest. If you like to wake up with the sunrise, you can leave them up and watch the room light up in the mornings. Bedroom 2 - Not really a bedroom, but the living couch turns into a full size bed that can comfortable accommodate two. A spare set of sheets and blankets is in the chaise part of the couch, which flips up. LIVING & ENTERTAINMENT Living Room - There\`s a spacious dining room table and a comfy couch to lounge in while you stream your favorite Netflix series on the speedy WiFi. WiFi - My home employs a mesh WiFi network with no dead zones. A strong 100Mbps connection will allow you to stream and work without any issues. LAUNDRY & COOKING Kitchen - The kitchen has everything you need to cook: a full stove and oven, fridge and freezer, and assortment of pots and pans. There are knives, cutting boards, wine glasses, coffee mugs, and a french press so you can get your caffeine fix before you enjoy the park. I moved here in 2010 and am a photographer specializing in weddings and family portraits. I have spent the years since climbing, hiking, skiing, cycling and adventuring in and around Rocky Mountain National Park and am happy to offer advice on the best hikes, drinks, dining and adventures in the area. I\`m just a quick text or email away! Otherwise please be in touch with my co-host and house manager Nancy who will also be helping a lot during your stay! The Valhalla neighborhood is a small collection of about 30 small historic homes and vacation cabins. There are other buildings nearby so if you are looking for total isolation, another home may be better for you. That said, the location is awesome. You can hike out your door and catch a trail into the National Park a few blocks away. My home is on the west side of Estes Park, so you don\`t have to brave downtown traffic to get into the National Park. Driving into the center of town is a short 7 minute journey, and the closest grocery store is 5 minutes away. During the summer, there\`s a free shuttle bus that goes all over Estes Park and into the National Park. It stops about two blocks away. NOISE Events, loud music and noises, and parties are prohibited. Please be respectful of your noise level. This is a duplex with a shared wall and both sides are vacation rentals. There are also neighbors in the neighborhood. UNREGISTERED GUESTS My insurance requires that unregistered guests are not allowed on property. AIR CONDITIONER Like nearly every other home in town, there’s no A/C, but the cool mountain air will quickly cool the home down in the evenings when you open the windows. \* After booking, guests may be asked to review and accept a standard rental agreement covering house rules, safety disclosures, liability, and damage responsibility. This agreement does not modify pricing, cancellation terms, or refund policies presented on Vrbo and is intended to be consistent with Vrbo’s terms and the listing details. Please respect that! \+ Quiet hours 9pm-8am \+ Please don\`t block the driveway -- it\`s a duplex and you have two spots directly below your deck. \+ Cleaning is expensive here and I want you to pay as little as possible. The cleaners offered a deal to keep the rates in the lowest third of homes this size, and I pass the savings on ! I ask guests to pay it forward by doing any leftover dishes and starting a load of towels in the washer. It takes five minutes but saves the cleaners an hour, which saves you money! \+ 4pm or later checkin; 10am or earlier checkout.
