Great place overlooking Estes Park and mountains. Easy walk to town. The walk back up the hill can be a good workout.
The sound of the river and unlimited stars at night on the deck are fantastic.
The house is well decorated and welcoming. Comfortable furniture and beds.
We would definitely stay here again when in Estes Park.

Walking in the door it felt like home. Very comfortable beds, couch, and side chair. The house had everything we needed. The back deck was wonderful to sit on anytime of the day. Great view of Estes and mountains. Very quiet street. We walked often down to the shops often. The fireplace was a wonderful bonus. Communication was great and return replies were fast. I highly recommend this home. We’ll be back.

We had a short stay in Estes for fall break and found this cute gem of a home that was so charming and tastefully decorated! It was perfect accommodations for our small family of 5 as we were a short distance from downtown Estes & Rocky Mountain National Park which were a plus!
Communication with the management company was great right from the start until our check out. The check in process & the instructions for the home were so easy to understand. We had a few questions and concerns that were promptly addressed and taken care of. Overall, we loved our stay & had a wonderful experience at this charming Estes home!

We had the pleasure of staying here a number of years ago and were so glad we had a chance to go back. The property is such a great location you can walk into town at any point, and even with construction getting groceries or shopping was a breeze. We also cooked a lot at the house and it was well appointed. We had a little trouble with the TV at first but the property managers were so responsive. Also, like everywhere else in Estes there is no AC - but the property provided box fans for every window and some extras so we were able to lock in the cool night air easily. Great bedding, great decor. Hope to be back!

Checking in was easy and the property manager was terrific to deal with. She had the dog bed ready and the house perfect for walking in and relaxing after a long trip. We walked the dogs to town and had coffee at Kind every morning then came back to cook breakfast and enjoy the views. Saw plenty of wildlife around the house. The view is unbeatable. Could not go wrong with this property in Estes!

We were so comfortable in the Mountain House! It was the perfectly quiet, clean and spacious home with a great deck to enjoy the scenery. Laura was very helpful upon our arrival and just a phone call away if we needed anything. Beverly was very responsive as well to our questions regarding the reservation process. You won’t be disappointed choosing this home! It made for the best family vacation in Estes Park! Thanks for a memorable stay!

My wife, children, and I enjoyed the place.
When we walked in the door our first impression; simple, practical, and very clean. The view of the town and the mountains are awesome!
Our host, Laura, does an excellent job with communication. She is flexible. She is very hospitable.
We typically will stay in a house further away from town, however, we decided to do something a little different. We tried this place because it was so close to town and we really liked it.
As a family, we foresee visiting this home once again.

Our stay here was one of the best vacations we have ever had. The house location is perfect. The views are great and it is walking distance to town. The dogs loved the sun room and the dog beds that were provided. The small fenced area is perfect for dogs. The neighborhood was great for walking the dogs. There is a lot of wild life in the area and we enjoyed watching the animals from the balcony. The house had everything we needed for a perfect vacation. The kitchen is a perfect size and the electric grill outside is great for grilling. The beds were comfortable. Laura, the manager, met us at check in and was very helpful and such a nice person. We loved this house and we are already planning another visit.

Bright clean house with a wonderful sun room with big open windows. Beautiful view of the town and surrounding hills and rocks from the porch. The house is up a hill which makes for a nice vista point. And great for a dog- equipped with dog beds, and a doggie door out to the fenced-in dog yard. When I woke up there were 8 deer in the yard! We had one couple, two single adults and a dog, and we had plenty of both private and shared spaces. (Kitchen was well equipped but bring your own spices for cooking.)
Thank you! We very much enjoyed.

We spent a very cloudy, rainy & foggy week in Estes Park but being at this home made the gloomy week bearable. It's centrally located to everything, so when the rain stopped or the fog lifted, we were only minutes from the fun! When we were at the home, we couldn't take our eyes off the view! We had a couple of nice days but found ourselves sitting on the deck listening to the river below the home & looking at the views!!! While there we viewed an assortment of wildlife all around the home,. Our dog liked the fenced in area so much that we are talking about making one at our own home. The bed that we slept in was extremely comfortable. The living areas are nice & roomy. And again...THE VIEWS!!
Laura - Thank you for all your assistance and answers to all our questions!
We cant wait to stay here again!!!

As was emphasized in the property write-up, the location (easy walking distance to downtown Estes Park - with a steep climb back up) and the views from the house make this a very desirable property. The view from the deck (and indoor sun-porch) are of the town of Estes Park with its northern mountains in the background. There are no other houses to block the view from the deck and it is spectacular for sunrises and nighttime looks of the lighted town.
Laura, the manager was very pleasant and helpful..
The home was very comfortable and very clean and very pet friendly. There were three pet "beds" available for our use and our Husky took right to them (which she's never done at home). The fenced in dog run adjacent to a side door was extremely convenient for pet necessities.
Just my wife and I stayed for a week and we only used the master bedroom. The king sized bed was very comfortable. The description says the house will sleep 8 persons and this is correct. It also says the house is simply furnished and this is also correct. However, the living room is only furnished with a comfortable couch (seats 3) and 1 easy chair (for a total seating of 4 plus the hardwood floor). There is a large dining room table with just six chairs (we saw no others) and just two short stools in the kitchen that very closely face a wall. Prospective renters with four or more persons should be aware that seating is at a premium. There is also a table and four chairs on the deck but this was not an option since we were there during a cold/windy week in November.
The kitchen appliances are new and very nice. There were adequate cooking pots/pans and plates, bowls, etc. However, just four table knives and four full sized forks made an inconvenience even for just the two of us and obviously would not be handy for four or more persons.
The bathrooms were clean but the tub drain was almost non-functional. This was detected on our first night when the tub took about 2 hours to drain after a bath. This appeared to be a malfunction of the mechanical drain rather than a clog. Regardless, I cannot imagine how it could not have been detected in preparing the tub after the previous renters. Toilet tissue was provided but no facial tissue.
In summary, in my opinion, it's a very nice place with great view and location for five or less persons but not the most comfortable for six or more.

My family stayed at this property for 3 nights. Communication with the host/rental company was FANTASTIC. They responded immediately and checked in with us during our stay. They were forthright in telling us the dryer had broken before our stay. I appreciate honesty. There were plenty of games and puzzles available to keep us entertained in the house. Location was very nice and the view was beautiful. My only suggestion would be to have a more detailed cleaning. Overall, the home was clean, but couches, floors, and dishes could have used more attention. I would rate our stay a 4.7.

Both toilets broke while we were there, screen door was broke and very hard to open, windows would not stay up so you could have them open. Pots and pans are not non stick, so very hard to cook with. Dishwasher catches on counter top when you open it. You have to open oven to get into one drawer. Only one bath has a tub/shower. (My fault for booking that with 7 people). One parking stall has a big dumpster which makes it almost unusable. Absolutely needs updated. Bathrooms are all original from when it was built, I’m guessing 1960’s. Great location close to town. Way overpriced for what it is and outrageous fees. I have stayed in lots of VRBO’s way nicer than this for much less!

This was a great house for our stay in Estes Park and our visit to Rocky Mountain National Park. The location was perfect (right next to town and only 5 mins from the park entrance). The house provided everything we needed for a great stay. Our family of 6 was very comfortable in the house and would definitely recommend staying here in the future for anyone visiting the Estes Park or RMNP.

We couldn’t have been happier with our stay. The house was clean and comfortable. It had everything we needed. Great views of the town, mountains and The Stanley Hotel off in the distance. Shops and restaurants are just a short walk away. The dog enclosure was super handy. We saw elk around the property every day. Great communication with property managers. We would love to stay here again.

The property was perfect for my family and our two dogs. The dog enclosed space was a lifesaver in the middle of the night and early morning. The views were stunning from the deck and sunroom. We watched elk walk across the backyard every evening at dusk. It was a great starting point for our vacation in Estes and into RMNP.

We had a very enjoyable stay at this property. The beds were comfortable and we had everything we needed. We loved the views from the house and the sunroom. The weather was very windy and although we did get some outdoor activities in, we really enjoyed hanging out there as well. The dog run was a big plus as we brought our dogs and were able to simply let them out rather than walking them on the leash -- that alone was a vacation! The kitchen was basic but had everything we needed to cook a few meals. We did walk to downtown to go shopping and it was very close.
