The cabin was comfortably furnished and conveniently located to both Rocky Mountain National Park and downtown Estes Park. The cabin was clean and equipped with bedding, bath and kitchen linen, and basic kitchen supplies making packing easy. They even provided games and basic outdoor items! The views from the living room and deck are gorgeous and we even saw a deer in the backyard and plenty of elk in the neighborhood. The warning to bring an suv is spot on…the driveway is no joke but doable with the proper vehicle and either a backup camera or a spotter. ##### Mary K. The only downside is having to pick up keys and return them at check-out. Since the property is managed by a realty company (and not the actual property owner) it is an inconvenience to not be able to have an access code for entry and avoid the extra steps of picking up keys. ##### Anna H. Up on the mountain, in the trees, views of the mountains, but only a few minutes to town and RMNP. Kitchen was well stocked. House was clean, but could use some updating in the carpet as it was pretty stained. Washer and Dryer was a great amenity and needed because there weren’t enough towels to enjoy the hot tub and daily showering for our group. The hot tub was clean. No tv’s in the main level bedroom or upstairs bedroom.Overall, we would absolutely rent this home again. In a secluded area but close enough to town to walk and 3 minutes from the park entrance. The view from the hot-tub is breathtaking and the amenities were very comfortable. It was perfect for our group of seven. Each family got their own bedroom and bathroom which was great for having our own space while the kitchen, dining, and living rooms were great areas to gather. Quiet location, close to town and the national park. The listing indicates a need for 4WD vehicle to navigate the steep driveway, and that is accurate. View is amazing from the deck while sitting in the hot tub. Saw a lot of turkey and elk while here. Close enough to town and RMNP for convenience, far enough away for peace. I will say, I’m an a/c guy. If I noticed this place did not have a/c, I would not have booked it. That being said, between the fans and having the windows open it was comfortable, and even chilly at times, even in July. I only got a little hot when the temperature was 89 outside, but by evening it was fine again. Loved it, would come again. ##### Joshua T. This our 4th consecutive year renting a house. This house was top of our list for the house itself and location to Estes and RMNP. It ranked bottom for contents. The linens were stained, torn and old. The kitchen was not equipped with items such as dish soap, paper towels, plastic wrap, garbage sacks…. All things the other properties furnished, at the same price point. All in all, great physical house, just disappointed in the lack of care given to the extra touches that make a house feel like a cozy relaxing get away. ##### Malinda L. Large and spacious, well appointed, and a great location. It was convenient to everything in town as well as the park. The management company was quick to respond to questions. The bedrooms are very comfortable and we were really happy with the large number of bathrooms.The kitchen is well-stocked with dishes - plates, mugs and cups, as well as towels and mixing bowls. Some of the pots and pans were a bit greasy. We never found any oven mitts.We took the trash bins down to the end of the driveway on Tuesday morning; both bins were very heavy and very full. We added only a single small bag of trash, so clearly it had been some time since the bins were taken down to the street.A couple other items I reported to the property manager: we found one of the shade strings to be broken in the master bedroom so we left those shades alone. This was really a great place to stay - roomy, clean, great view, quiet neighborhood and very well appointed. The kitchen is well stocked with cooking gear, the bathrooms were clean and well stocked and I loved that we were able use the garage even though my truck didn't fit in it. The location was perfect. It is close to downtown Estes but far enough away to make it feel more private. The view from the house is breathtaking. The house is very comfortable and spacious.
