The upstairs bedroom window has a giant crack in it, so we were afraid to try and open it for safety reasons, but thankfully it wasn't a hot weekend, so it wasn't an issue. Some of the other window cranks are similarly damaged and unusable, or the windows were stuck. But the unit is cozy and well situated and obviously the views of the river and experiencing the sound of the river every day was such a treat. Really enjoyed sitting on the deck listening to the sounds of the river. The grounds are beautifully maintained. Very quiet location. The only down side was the furniture in the unit. The couch and chair need to be replaced as the cushions are so flattened it is very uncomfortable. The chair cushion seems to have had the cushion replaced but is so full it is bouncy. Was looking forward to sitting in front of the fire after a day of hiking but ended up watching football from the bedroom as it was the only comfortable place to sit. The bed was comfortable for sleeping but the bedding needs to be replaced. Comforter must be at least 10 years old. Just a little TLC and this place would be a 10. ##### Jill B.
