Also, outdoor wood fire pits and charcoal grills are illegal in Estes. Gas is OK. AIR CONDITIONER Like nearly every other home in town, there’s no A/C. Thankfully mountain air blows down from the high peaks and will cool down the place quickly in the evenings if you open the windows. BEARS Do NOT leave food in your car! Bears frequent this area and can break in! MINUT We use a Minut noise meter. It doesn\`t record audio, but instead monitors decibel levels, temperature and humidity. This is for the safety of guests & to protect the home. It also serves to warn us about parties & prevent noise complaints from neighbors. The property was just as described and depicted in pictures. The view was amazing and we saw deer in the backyard on three different days! We had lots of room to give everyone space, but also great areas to all gather together to eat and play games. It was well stocked with kitchen items, it was clean, check-in was as easy as walking into my own home, the kids loved the hot tub, and the owners were super friendly. The location was terrific. It was close to the National Park and to downtown Estes Park. We were there while it was decorated for Christmas. It was beautiful and everyone was so friendly. We found lots to do and will definitely be back. I would definitely recommend this place.
