Guest Access: Guests can access the entire cabin as well as our playground and communal spaces on the resort property. There is a new community firepit and cornhole game in front of the Grand Lodge. The Lobby, located at the front of the property by Fall River Road, offers a paid guest laundry room, pamphlets for local attractions, and a coffee bar. You can access the door with your cabin code.
The Neighborhood: Fall River Road has access to Rocky Mountain National Park's north entrance and is lined on each side of the street with cabins and resorts. Even so, this area is in the remote Rocky Mountains and feels very secluded. We often have wild animals such as bear and elk on our property.
Getting Around: The easiest way to get around is by car. You do not need 4WD to access the property. There is free parking near the cabin. We are only minutes from one of the entrances to Rocky Mountain National Park. The roads in Amberwood are paved and may be slick when it is icy or snowy. We do our best to keep them clear for you!
Other Things to Note: We are in the wilderness of Colorado. There are bears, elk, deer, sheep and numerous other wild animals that also call the mountains home. Respect their space and do not keep any trash or food outside unattended. We have an animal proof dumpster on our property for any trash. Do not feed the wildlife! It is illegal to feed any wildlife in Colorado and you could get a fine. This includes deer, elk, birds, bears and rodents! Thank you!

A great place to stay. Updated cabin was quiet, clean and cozy. Great communication with host was appreciated. Would absolutely stay here again.
The cabin was updated and comfortable. We were able to cook all of our meals. The location was close to town and RMNP. The hosts checked in daily via email. Overall, a relaxing trip. We will definitely consider returning in the future.
Great cabin. Well appointed and immaculate. Excellent and speedy communication with host. We will definitely stay here again if we return to Estes Park.

We were disappointed in the location of the cabin…no Mountain View. Outdoor sitting area was a view of a cement wall, which was not told on the listing. The unit itself was very nice.
Customer service was excellent through Jill. Her response time was impeccable. We met the owner and he was attentive, caring and very gracious. The cabin was perfect for 2 adults. Very clean and comfortable. The outdoor grill was perfect.

Overall the stay was okay. The cabin was pretty clean, and was accurately represented in the photos. The biggest con that we had was there was no internet. It did not work at all. We also had zero cell service (Verizon) so if you intent to stay here, make sure to either bring some DVDs or Starlink to do anything. The TV is a smart TV, so in order to watch anything you need internet. We went back and forth with the Host for 2 days, and it still was not fixed. The WIFI worked great everywhere else on the property we went, just not in our cabin. The Host sent a maintenance worker to try to resolve it, and he told me he basically had no idea why it wasn't working. We got the property managers phone number, and we were told numerous times that she would call us back in 10 minutes, and never did. I understand this issue was probably not one she knew how to fix, I assume they would need an IT person to fix it, but it still was an issue. We brought our dog, and intended to spend our nights after being in RMNP all day sitting around watching movies with our pup, but were unable to because we had no internet. Some people I am sure would love to be completely disconnected, but that is not what we were intending for, nor is that what is listed on here. Overall, the cabin is nice, but be aware, it does not have "High Speed Internet" as listed, it has no internet at all.
