Lovingly restored and thoroughly enjoyed by our own family and friends since 2015, we are happy to share this very special Estes Park cabin with other Rocky Mountain loving families.

Turn back the clock and enjoy our 1906 vintage Estes Park cabin on 1.5 acres. Great room with old time wavy glass divided light windows, spacious living room & dining space that includes a cozy wood burning fireplace. Renovated down to the studs barnwood kitchen, bathroom and mud/laundry room. Three bedrooms with comfortable sleeping for six.

Fantastic outdoor space with loads of peace and quiet, great wooded lot and Continental Divide views! Covered porch and patio space. Walking distance to all that downtown Estes Park has to offer! Quaint, charming, "old Estes" summer cabin lovingly restored!

This is the real deal one of kind vintage property!

We manage our own rentals and live just a few miles away... readily available to assist you with your stay!

We enjoyed our stay and loved the location! It was close to town, grocery store, restaurants, and park. Beds were comfortable with nice linens and quilts. The kitchen was well-appointed and very spacious. Cleanliness is a top priority and this cabin exceeded our expectations. The outdoor seating area was our favorite place to relax after a day of hiking in the park. We received fast responses from the owner and was easy to communicate with. Would stay here again!

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at this cabin. The porch was a treat with a beautiful front yard full of nature and was very clean. It is located conveniently near the RMNP entrance. The owner, Sue, was very thoughtful and easy to reach. We would definitely recommend to family/friends and would stay again upon a return to RMNP.

This cabin and its owners, Sue and Mark, are absolutely wonderful! From the communication to the cleanliness to the thoughtful tips, tricks, and items in the house, I cannot recommend them enough! This home is right outside of Rocky Mountain National Park and super close to town. It is fully equipped with all you need if you bring your kids. My three (9, 6, and 4) fully enjoyed exploring the property and playing with the toys. Sue is local and can provide you with any information you need! I could go on and on. Truly, this is a gem of a place and you will not be disappointed! Thank you so much, Sue and Mark, for sharing your special cabin with us!

Very quiet and peaceful, perfect after full days in the NP. Close to NP and downtown Estes Park, but not around high traffic roads. Very comfortable home with desired amenities. We will return here before going back to a resort we have frequented when visiting Estes/NP. Hostesses are very easy to contact and speak to. We had a wonderful stay; thank you!!

There were so many wonderful things that we liked when it came to this rental. First of all the communication from the owner was great! She text to check on us, gave us advice on things to do nearby, and when we had one tiny thing that needed attention they were there within just a few minutes! The home has that older cabin homey feel, which we loved. And you are only a few minutes away from RMNP.

My family and I stayed in the Prospector cabin for 5 days and had a great experience. The cabin is close to the Beaver Meadows entrance to RMNP, which was a huge plus for us getting into the park quickly. The cabin itself was immaculate and had everything we needed for our stay (even a bag of ground, local coffee)! We saw deer, and elk and her baby, and lots of chipmunks on the property and it was a very quiet spot to rest after a long day of hiking. Sue was a great host with excellent communication. Highly recommended!

Everything about this property was perfect. The distance to town, the distance to the park, and the back road access was incredible . The cabin had everything we needed and the management is wonderful. We have rented from them multiple times because of their hospitality and reliability. This cabin brought us together as a family and allowed our otherwise busy and distracted bodies to rest. I don’t think i could ever stay anywhere else In Estes after staying at this historic cabin.

My husband and I stayed here with our 2 children for our trip to visit RMNP. Location is great with easy access to the national park and downtown Estes Park, and 1.5 acres gives a very peaceful setting. The cabin has a very nice feel of the 113-year old original charm, plus nice updated kitchen, bathroom, and big laundry room/mud room. We enjoyed sitting out on the deck and our kids loved climbing around on the big stones and patio area. We did see a few deer in the yard too. The cabin had all the supplies we needed and the manager/owner was very friendly and helpful. Easy check-in and check-out process. Highly recommend!

The cabin was beautiful and the land and outdoor spaces were wonderful! The owners were easy to work with and responded quickly if we had questions. The place was very well done with amenities, extremely comfortable and clean, and nice touches throughout without being cluttered. Books and games on hand and plenty of room for a group, family or a Couple. Easy access to the RMNP, great hiking and the little country store had what we needed. If you’re able to avoid the Safeway in town I recommend. It’s nuts. You can avoid the center of town if you want to from this cabin or you’re moments away from it if you want to stroll and shop. The owners recommended restaurants and we loved the two we tried, which were also close! The Rock Inn Mountain Tavern and Bird & Jim’s. Wildlife walks through the property regularly. We had visits by mule deer and elk daily. Several bird families were entertaining us while sitting on the patio and the fires at night were wonderful. I will stay here again and recommend you do the same!
