Selwo Hills Vacation Apartment is set in the beautiful and private Selwo Hills 2 community and is surrounded by luxurious tropical gardens. A modern, first floor apartment, it enjoys fantastic sea views from the patio balcony on one side of the apartment and beautiful garden and mountain scenery from the balcony on the other side. Most recently renovated in 2020, the grounds, communal areas and the apartment itself are all furnished, equipped and maintained to a very high standard. We are officially registered with the Andalusian Regional Government Tourist Authority - Registration No: VFT/MA/03710.
Perfectly situated between the beautiful towns of Marbella and Estepona, and centrally located on the New Golden Mile, the apartment is less than a hour away from either Malaga or Gibraltar and is within easy reach of beaches, towns, golf courses, marinas and nightlife - which means it makes a perfect base from which to explore and enjoy all of the activities and sightseeing that the Costa del Sol has to offer!

The Selwo Hills 2 community enjoys a secure and gated environment, with lush tropical gardens surrounding a large outdoor swimming pool with sun loungers. Other community facilities include a sauna, a gym and a small library which residents and guests are welcome to use. Secure, off road parking is provided in the underground car park with lift access directly to the apartment. The whole environment is accessible and wheelchair friendly (there are several lifts to all areas).
The apartment is furnished to a high quality standard with leather living room suites, marble dining table and Travertine marble flooring throughout. Air conditioning is provided in both bedrooms and the living room.
Living Room
Comfortable seating for 5 and a modern 48” Smart TV including cable TV with a full range of international channels (Spanish/English/French/German/Russian). There is a DVD player and the bluetooth soundbar means you can play all your favourite music from your own smart devices. Free WiFi is available throughout the apartment. A marble dining table seats 6 people when you want to dine more formally –or if you prefer to eat outside, you can also use the table on the balcony overlooking the Mediterranean Sea.
Balcony
Relaxed seating and another dining area on this large balcony which is your ‘outside room’ where you can enjoy beautiful sea views and even catch a glimpse of Gibraltar in the distance! On this balcony there is a charcoal barbecue for you to use if you feel like dining ‘al fresco’.
Kitchen
The kitchen is fully fitted and completely equipped to ensure that you are able to cater for yourselves should you decide you want a change from eating at restaurants! There is a hob, an oven, fridge, freezer, microwave, kettle, coffee maker, toaster, dishwasher and all pots and utensils necessary to cater for your group.
Utility Room
Should you need to do some washing, there is a utility room with a washing machine, iron and ironing board at your disposal.
Master bedroom
The master suite has a Super Kingsize double bed, with ample wardrobe space. This bedroom enjoys views out to the Mediterranean and has separate access to the large balcony. There is a widescreen TV in this bedroom. It also boasts a luxurious ensuite bathroom with both a shower and a full-sized bath and a hairdryer at your disposal.
2nd Bedroom
This bedroom is equipped with 2 single beds and again has ample wardrobe / storage space. The bedroom has views to the gardens and the mountain scenery.
Family Bathroom
The shared bathroom is accessed from the central hallway and consists of a toilet, wash basin and shower facilities and also a hairdryer for you to use.
2nd Balcony
Relaxed seating and another dining area with room for 4-6 on this balcony overlooking the gardens and mountain scenery. This balcony is accessed from the kitchen.
General
All bed linen, towels and pool towels are provided for you.
It is recommended that guests use a hire car in order to gain maximum enjoyment from their stay. You will have the exclusive use of an allocated parking space in the community underground parking area.

This is a really lovely apartment, set in the most beautiful gardens I have seen in Spain. The apartment is well equipped we especially liked the large terrace where you can eat and then relax on the sofa and enjoy the long balmy evenings. We will certainly return and I have already recommended it to friends.

Beautiful apartment in a great location! Malcolm the owner was brilliant at getting back to us and made arrangements for us to arrive at really short notice. The apartment is lovely and fully equipped with everything you need for a great trip. Fantastic large balcony for outside living. We would thoroughly recommend this apartment to anyone looking for a great home from home with all the mondern comforts.

The apartment was exquisite! It boast a view of the Mediterranean from its amazing front patio as well as picturesque scenery of the mountains and surrounding villages from the back patio. It's large and very well equipped and the furniture is super comfortable. It's very close to the highway and there is a 9 hole golf course, that is terrific to walk, only minutes away. The owner is super helpful and genuine. We highly recommend this place! Kevin & Lesley Caldwell

Although the weather was not kind to us at least we were comfortable in the apartment. The accommodation is clean, tidy and well equipped and for the colder months the heating was a definite plus. The grounds in the complex are very well maintained and the pool area looked lovely but just a wee bit too cold at the time to try it out. There is a little bit of road noise at times from the busy A7 when sitting on the patio but you quickly get used to it. Good location for exploring the area,would advise not too big a hire car as underground parking is quite tight. The agent met us on arrival and was there to see us out on the day of departure.The lift from the garage is just outsde the apartment door ideal for bringing in the suitcases and groceries. To summarize would certainly recommend this apartment for a stay in the area.

Would recommend this excellent well equipped and maintained apartment. Spent many relaxing hours out on the very spacious and well furnished front balcony reading and looking at the views. Great pool area and beautiful landscaped gardens. Plenty of useful information about the apartment and surrounding area available. All the facilities / equipment in good working order, fast reliable internet. As mentioned in one of the other reviews, if you open the front and rear balcony doors there is a nice cooling breeze which flows through the apartment and keeps the interior cool without having to use the A/C. A car is beneficial so if you like walking, a less than five minute drive along the A7 will take you to Laguna Village where you can park the car and from there you can walk along the promenade into Estepona. From the initial booking until the end of the holiday was perfect, great communication from Malcolm throughout the booking process. Also, thanks to Jim the property manager who kindly came along at 07:30am to collect the keys as we had an early flight back home. Would certainly like to return to this apartment in the future. C'est notre deuxième séjour de 2 semaines dans ce luxueux appartement. Nous avons décidé de revenir pour continuer la visite de cette magnifique région, Andalousie, Gibraltar, Cadix. 2 semaines de vacances en familles avec mes enfants. L'appartement est très joli, grand et confortable pour 4 personnes. Les terrasses en soi sont des superbes espaces de vie. Il y a tout le nécessaire pour les vacances. Le parc est splendide ainsi que la piscine. Voiture a l'ombre en garage. La situation permet des visites a la journée. Nous avons passé d'excellentes vacances dans cet appartement spacieux, parfaitement équipé et très bien aménagé. Il est situé au calme tout en étant proche du centre d'Estepona. Apartamento excepcional con una terraza expectacular donde poder desayunar, comer o cenar viendo el mar de fondo. Exquisita temperatura. Todo muy cómodo y completo. This property provided everything necessary for a relaxing, comfortable and thoroughly enjoyable holiday in this part of Spain. The apartment was beautifully decorated and had a lovely balcony at the front with views over the gardens and the sea and a smaller balcony at the back with views over some more gardens and the pool area. It was lovely and spacious and our only regret was that we hadn't booked to stay longer.

This property is an excellent property with the owner having gone to great detail for you to enjoy your stay The terrace is a wonderful outdoor space and the rooms are large and have quality furnishings The only negative is there is very little nearby and the beach is not walking distance and quite difficult to get to due to the A7 road and fencing There are no restaurants nearby just a cafe bar at the side of the A7 . (noise and fumes are not pleasant). the nearest shop being at the side of the A7 on a camp site. However if you have a car it is well located to travel into Estepona or Marbella or trip to the Rhonda. These are great areas with great restaurants and beaches or Mountain views to explore.

Wir waren 16 Tage in dieser Wohnung und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Kommunikation mit Malcolm war sehr gut. Über Emailkontakt konnte alles schnell und problemlos gelöst werden. Auch vor Ort hat Jim problemlos und sofort geholfen. Egal, ob wir uns ausgesperrt haben oder unser Sohn sich noch das Knie aufgeschlagen bevor wir ins Auto zur Abreise gestiegen sind. Jim war sofort da um zu helfen oder zu verarzten. ( Danke dafür!). Die Wohnung war angenehm gross, was uns sehr gefallen hat. Die beiden Balkone waren toll, wir haben jedoch nur den grossen genutzt. Hier fühlte man sich richtig wohl und wir haben schöne Abende dort verbracht. Es war sehr ruhig in der Anlage und auch am Pool war es nie zu voll. Die Lage war gut um verschiedene Ausflüge zu unternehmen. Praktisch war auch der Stellplatz in der Tiefgarage. Wenn wir mal wieder nach Andalusien reisen, kommen wir gerne wieder!

Es waren wunderbare 3 Wochen, die wir in dieser schönen Wohnung verbringen durften. Es war von der Schlüsselübergabe mit Jim bis zum "leider" Urlaubsende erholsame Tage, wo man nichts vermisst hat, was zum erfolgreichem Urlaub gehört. Die Wohnung ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Wir haben auch viel selber gekocht und uns in der Wohnung aufgehalten, da es für uns eine Oase der Ruhe war. Auch haben wir in dieser Zeit 8 verschiedene Golfplätze gespielt, die alle innerhalb 30 Minuten erreichbar waren. Alles kurze Wege, so dass man immer schnell wieder in der Wohnung war. (Als Tip zum Golfen: Über die Home Page der Clubs buchen. Wird erheblich günstiger.) Für uns hat die Wohnung 5 Sterne verdient. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder!!!

The apartment is clean and comfortable and situated in pretty grounds with lovely palm trees. We made good use of the swimming pool which is quite big and clean and well maintained. Sun beds were always available. The owner is very helpful and gave us advice on the area and local restaurants. Communication was very good. We would recommend the apartment.

My partner and I with two 14 year old boys stayed in this apartment for a fortnight and by the end of the first week I felt as though I was staying in a friend's property. The apartment is a good size and is extremely well equipped, even the hair dryer in the bathroom is of a good quality. The two balconies are a fantastic outside space and it was lovely to sit on the main balcony in the evening with a glass of wine and watch the sun go down. What I particularly liked was that with both sets of balcony doors open it was possible to create a lovely cross breeze through the apartment which meant it wasn't necessary to use the air con. The grounds are immaculate and the pool area is very clean. It did not matter what time of day we went to the pool we were always able to get a sun lounger and on two occasions we even had the whole pool to ourselves! Malcolm made the whole process really easy and was very helpful in providing information about taxi hire from the airport and the proximity of supermarkets and restaurants. He even helped with a wifi issue. However, you did need a car which was not something I had fully appreciated before arriving at the property. We did try to walk to bars and restaurants but, it is just that little bit too far. Nevertheless this did not detract from what was a lovely relaxing holiday in a beautiful well proportioned apartment, I would definitely recommend a stay in this property.
