I stayed at The Waves on a solo trip, and it was honestly the perfect place for me! From the moment I arrived, I felt safe, comfortable, and completely at ease as a woman traveling alone.
The property was extremely clean, the view was unbelievable, and the staff was amazing. Tom and Charlette were fantastic, and the restaurant servers were wonderful as well. The food at the restaurant was absolutely delicious, and the portions were generous enough that I had leftovers to enjoy later.
Housekeeping was also great and always on time. The only time they didn’t come was when I accidentally put the “Do Not Disturb” magnet on the other side of the door. My only small note is that they didn’t restock the bottled water during housekeeping, but I simply brought my own water back to the room, so it wasn’t a big deal.
The room had a mini fridge and dishes, which came in handy for storing and enjoying my leftovers. There was also a complimentary bottle of wine and snacks waiting in the room. The wine was a complimetary Malbec, which isn’t my personal preference, but if you love Malbec, you’ll definitely enjoy it!
Overall, I truly have zero complaints. I had an amazing stay and would absolutely recommend The Waves. I would definitely stay here again!
