Hotel is around 40 mins up a hill from the centre of Carcassone and public transport to get there isn’t good. There isn’t much around there so if you don’t have a car be prepared to get a lot of steps in. The room itself could do with a renovation.

Room was clean, breakfast was great (apart from the pod coffee machine not working very well), late check out at 12.00 was really helpful and staff were really friendly at the reception desk and at breakfast. The pool wasn’t open which was a shame as it was 26 degrees whilst we were there. I would definitely stay there again as it was so close to the medieval city.

It was a very central location and had a charming take on a period hotel modernisation. Lovely rooms and the best air con that allowed you to sleep all night.

"This lovely newish Hotel has a few issues! The wash basin didn’t drain & had mould in the corners where filled with silicone and the dock lock didn’t work properly. However the staff were amazing! Please sort these small build issues and it will be a really good stopover!!"
