Lovely place and location

From start to finish the place was lovely, relaxing and fun. Kitchen had all the necessities, the place was cute and clean, and the views were phenomenal. The pictures are accurate to the place as well. Amy was kind and helpful, she kept in contact as needed and was super helpful finding places to eat and hike. My family and I look forward to coming back soon!

Perfect Getaway

We stayed in this cottage for a long weekend getaway. The cottage was perfect. When they say that it has everything you need they were accurate. Its incredibly peaceful. Very clean. Excellent views. Would go back again.

Amazing views of lake from cozy front porch!

We absolutely loved our stay at this property. The house was clean and well-stocked - especially loved the fun glassware and utensils in the kitchen as well as the master bedroom wallpaper! Beds were super comfortable. We're already talking about renting this house again next year. Highly recommended!!

Allegheny College Graduation

We enjoyed your home for a few days while attending graduation events. We were able to easily find everything we needed to cook meals in and enjoyed a few local restaurants too. We didn't have time to use the bikes or kayaks but it's a great location to do so. Comfortable home, very peaceful and quiet area.

Incredible stay

I must say through the pictures I thought this place would be nice. I was right but the pictures do not give it justice of how beautiful the place really is. I truly believe the group and I seen the most beautiful sunset we will ever see. We had a great time. The hosts are the most genuine and nice people. Any questions at any time they were there with answers. I will be 100% returning with friends and family in the future.

Serene quiet get away

We had 3 couples stay for 4 nights. The house was the perfect size. We had come to PA for the funeral of my niece's husband. The house was in an area which made it convenient to get to both Erie and Meadville to visit with family . The open kitchen and dining area made breakfast easy to prepare and serve. Amy was prompt to respond to our questions. She offered wonderful suggestions for coffee and local shopping. It was easy to extend the stay for part of the group. The only trouble was the key code was incorrect. But that was remedied quickly.

Edinboro Graduation

Our family rented The Castle for the weekend to attend our son's graduation from Edinboro U. It was perfect for us and the decks provided great spaces for us to entertain our son's friends and their parents for an party after commencement. We just wish we had more time to take advantage of the lake and other activities available to us.

Guys fishing fire whiskey and cigar weekend

Well equipped kitchen. Lots of nice outdoor seating. We had great weather and enjoyed our time outdoors. Pleasantly surprised with the bikes and kayaks availability.

Lovely Home

We stayed here for the Christmas holidays to be close to family. Very clean and well furnished home. A little tight with regard to fitting 8 people but the home ended up being perfect for our needs.

Beautiful setting

Everything you need is provided from the backyard firepit, front deck gas fireplace, lovely furniture, and a well stocked kitchen. We love tge views and the focus on outdoor space. We’ll be rebooking!

Great get away with friends

We enjoyed our weekend and all the amenities the property had to offer. The fire pit in the backyard, and the gas fireplace on the front deck were wonderful. Amy was super to work with, and even offered many suggestions of things to do in the area .

Quick Get Away Trip

The cottage was decorated nicely and appreciated reading the book of the owner renovations. The living room furniture and beds were comfortable and the cottage had an overall charm about it. I loved the oven and the island in the kitchen area. The owner had plenty of supplies for us to use. We had an issue with the internet while we were there, but Amy was quick to respond and notify the cable company.

Just perfect. So clean and comfortable!

The house was immaculate! Not a speck of dirt. Fabulous kitchen and the beds are comfortable!! As soon as we put the fishing rods in we had a fish on the line. Owners are awesome and answered all our questions. The kayaks were so nice to have too!

Awesome place

We had such a great experience even though the weather didn’t cooperate. The kayaks and bikes were so much fun and access to the lake was so easy. The house was immaculate and had everything you needed to prepare home cooked meals. We definitely plan on returning!

Family Trip

My partner & I were looking for a location with enough flexibility and options to keep our 4 kids, ages 6-12, occupied; this was a great fit for us. The kids enjoyed kayaking and fishing, and we pretty much had the lake to ourselves, but were a little disappointed that this was not a lake we could swim in. We liked using the fire pits and eating/playing board games on the porch. Lots of good suggestions from the hosts about where to go & what to do, and the house contained every item we might need. Thanks for a great stay!
