"Fabulous facilities and plenty of space. Owner very helpful on arrival . Much better value than town or city centre properties. Travelled to watch rugby at Lille (45 mins easy drive) beautiful town of St Omer nearby . No shops within walking distance but boulangerie and small supermarket 5 mins drive ."

"Propriétaire très conciliant par rapport à notre heure d'arrivée (plus tôt du fait d'une activité prevue). Grande maison ou tout le monde a apprécié d'avoir sa salle de bain privative. Literies de qualité. Quelques petits bémols. Le BBQ hors d'âge et rouillé. Les extérieurs (côté et derrière) mériteraient un entretien. L'organisation de l'espace a vivre a repenser: baby et billard dans la cuisine pas top, alors que la grande pièce est peu aménagée."

"Het vakantiehuis Les Charmilles ligt aan een nagenoeg doodlopende groene omgeving. Het is een zeer rustige locatie gelegen naast het kasteel van Torcy. Een ideale uitvalbasis voor wandelingen en het ontdekken van het gebied van de 7 Valeien. Bovendien ligt het op 35 minuten rijden van de kust om van de baaien te genieten. "This was a good large cottage in a very quiet village only an hour into France from Calais. Nice sizable garden for the kids to have fun. The coast and Belgium were both within reach for days out."

"Very well equipped and sizeable property. Lovely garden to relax in on the evenings. Really enjoyed our stay and property is in a good location to explore the surrounding area. Just a couple of things let it down, the sofa covers really need a clean and the bedroom curtains really do need fit better to block out any light. Overall very good value money."

"A spacious very well equipped gite in a rural agricultural region. Several very pleasant nearby towns which have a good selection of shops, cafes, restauants etc. The hosts were very pleasant and respectul and it was a treat to hear owls at night."

"It was a very nice, quiet location. We enjoyed the place, lots of room. there were some nice places that the owner recommended to go to. (pizza place and a bakery) However a few things stood out, that potential renters should know: 1. The deposit is 1500 euros, but they don’t have a credit card machine. So it’s by bank transfer. This is a hassle and the money isn’t returned right away when you leave. We are over a day later and still not returned. If you don’t have 1500 euros at your disposal...

"A lovely bungalow on a property in a pretty village and well positioned for visiting the coast and northern areas of France including Amiens, Arras and Lille. Coffee in the mornings outside on the peaceful terrace surrounded by trees and birdsong. The kitchen was well equipped, the bed comfy, great shower and good wifi. We prepared all of our meals including picnic lunches with supermarkets about 10 minutes drive. The countryside is beautiful. Thank you to the owners for their kindness."

"Excellent small hotel with very well equipped mini studios. Most comfortable bed and best shower we have experienced for years. Good secure parking and excellent wifi. Small but very tasty breakfast included in very reasonable price. We will definitely stay again!"
