"They really need to keep people at the desk. Should not have to chase down a rep at the desk. You had a note hanging up about maintenance that was going to happen on a holiday weekend and that we had to give access to our room. I asked if they were coming in because I had my valuables in the room. The lady said they were coming in so we had to take our laptops and stuff with us just to find out they never even came in our room. You need to have a better schedule for such things especially on a holiday weekend. Got a text asking how things were going and when I responded regarding this of course nobody responded. Just not an ideal way to spend our trip."

"If your vision is a tranquil quaint cabin on the edge of a lake, then look elsewhere as this isn’t it. I think this is a solid cabin located in an area to where it’s easy to get anywhere. Is away from the hustle and bustle of Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg yet close enough to go there if that’s your thing. Amenities were excellent when they were new, several years ago. But the years have taken its toll and needs a refresh if it wants to retain its “5 Star” ranking. The good:* Bed is comfortable and water pressure is good. * The fire pit area is pretty good and in decent condition. * Front porch area with rocking chairs is pretty great in the mornings with your morning coffee * does have washer dryer and in good working orderThe not so good:* although surface clean really needs a deep clean. Looks like enough dust to grow a plant in the exhaust fan at eye level in the bathroom* advertises a grill. Has holes in the bottom and really needs an upgrade for the price charged on a per night basis. * hot tub is cloudy and just icky* bug catchers were just full and downright gross hanging on the edges of the porch * just a lot of things not operable. Security sensor lights broken. Lights to the firepit coiled up and broken under the deck instead of hanging up Not terrible but not terribly impressed either."
