Quiet Lemon Bay exceeded our expectations. First of all, Kat, the host, went above and beyond to accommodate us with an early check in and late check out. Kat was very prompt with any questions we had and was very helpful. It is very refreshing when you have such a good host. The Tiki was perfect for us, the kitchen was fully stocked allowing us to cook meals, the bed was very comfortable. There were plenty of towels and linens. We enjoyed the screened in porch as well. The property was very nice, there were so many nice separate areas to enjoy, the pier, the fire pit area, the hammock. I loved that you could have your own little spot to enjoy when other guests were out and about the property. The pool was great, was not to cold. It wasn’t ready so we had to look for reasonable accommodations for a week. We had some time to relax here because that’s what you do in Englewood. Very responsive host, clean, neat cottage among 9 others. The Sunsets were out of this world, the beach was 1 mile away. The people friendly and the pool refreshing. It’s not a 5 star resort BUT Better! No noisy crowds, fish off the long dock, read in the hammock! No one to bother you so make your own Pina Colada just the way you like it, because the kitchen is fully equipped! We were in the right place! The home was clean, the AC unit was cold, and they provided more convenience items than any other Vrbo we have stayed in (paper towels, toilet paper, etc). The dock and beach lookout provided the most amazing sunset view with dolphins just feet away. The hosts were kind and responsive. The local beaches are calm with gentle waves. Englewood Beach was really busy but we loved Manasota Key Beach and Boca Grande (worth the drive). If you love nature, this is the place for you. With it being the off season, many places were closed or had very limited hours. However, we still found great places to eat. If you’re looking for a local, friendly place to grab a sandwich or a delicious take home meal for later, hit up Larry’s Lunchbox before noon.
