Amani house was a wonderful place to come home to at the end of our long days exploring KI. The house is very well equipped with everything we needed to make our own meals. Our whole crew loved the walking labyrinth and yard games as well. Gardens were beautiful!! The hosts are very nice, helpful from the booking to the Check-out, everything indicated exactly and you feel the appreciation for the guests with every writing and also inside the house, very comfortable and arranged with love. The shalom house is situated very calm, a little bit aside and with a beautiful view. Inside is everything you need and outside a nice place to sit. The surrounding garden ist amazing and we have seen lots of birds, koalas and kangaroos. The Labyrinth is mystic and wonderful. It's not always clear from the photos which property you're looking at. I'd recommend to the owners to consider better labelling of the photos so that prospective clients can see what they're booking. And if you're a potential client, take care with the photos. You might not be looking at the correct photos for the accommodation you're booking. We stayed in a cabin. This is a transportable site shed, fitted out with a kitchenette and with a double bed and two single beds. It was clean and comfortable with basic kitchen fittings, pots and implements. The view of Emu Bay was lovely. The owner is very good with communication and gives lots of information. Emu Bay is further out than other locations from the main tourist attractions, so a bit more driving is required, especially to the south- west. From the moment I arrived, the owner's warm welcome set the tone for an exceptional stay. The personal touch of being shown to my small, impeccably clean apartment immediately made me feel at home. The attention to detail was evident throughout, with everything thoughtfully organized for the utmost comfort. What truly stood out were the considerate touches, such as the informative notes strategically placed around the apartment. One noteworthy suggestion was a creative way to conserve water by using buckets to collect cold water while waiting for it to heat up. The notes gently encouraged guests to water the plants outside with this collected water, reflecting a commitment to sustainability without imposing demands. The highlight of my stay was undoubtedly the breathtaking view, It's the kind of scenery that captivates your senses and beckons you to stay for days on end. The location was lovely. Very peaceful, with distant views over the water. The closest town is 15 minutes drive, but it's easy to organise around that. I still can’t believe waking up every morning to see that amazing view. I want to rate the place 10/10 it was total bargain. One of the cheapest stays on the island, still can’t believe what we paid for what we got. The owner Rene was lovely too, she came over the day after we got there to ensure. We had everything we needed to enjoy our holiday. I will definitely recommend this place to anyone without hesitation.
